HOUSE PLANS

In Feng Shui, when we prescribe a colour remedy it is just that a remedy, a cure. Each of the five elements has a connection with a colour. When we connect back to Chinese medicine we also can connect these colours with an organ/ meridian. It is possible to adjust the energies by using a colour in your home/ business or wear it to balance the energy.

HISTORY
Feng Shui is an environmental science with simple

origins. It is based on the interpretation of the natural world enabling the Chinese to create efficient agricultural systems. They also studied the movement of heavenly bodies to determine the passage of time. This interpretation grew more complex over the centuries & it became removed from its original purpose. Beliefs, custom, folklore & superstition sought to alter this ancient art but, the Chinese preserved the information in written form.

HISTORY
In China it underlies all aspects of life. Nutrition Medicine Exercise Arts Understanding the concepts we can choose designs,

meaningful images and symbols from our own culture to support us in our lives. Today Feng shui is interpreted for modern times without straying from the underlying principles. This knowledge will enable us to make an impact on the wider environment helping us to preserve it for future generations

together in order to create energy. Yin and yang represent these two forces each attempting to gain dominance. Where one achieves dominance an imbalance occurs. Yin and Yang are opposing but interdependent concepts- without the idea of cold we would not be able to describe heat The aim is to achieve balance.

Qi is the life force of all animate things, the quality of environments, the power of the sun, the moon & the weather systems & the driving force in all human beings. The purpose of Feng Shui is to create environments in which Qi flows smoothly to achieve physical & mental health. Where Qi flows gently through a house, the occupants will be positive & will have an easy passage through life. Where Qi flows sluggishly or becomes stuck, then the chances are that problems will occur in the day to day life or long term prospects of those living there.

The three lucks determine why our lives are the way they are. Heaven Luck:
Mental & physical blueprint you inherited at birth.

Earth Luck:
Environmental influences that affect your everyday life.

Man Luck:
The most important as it accounts for 40-50% of who you are determined by:
How charitable you are Self education What you think , do & create

If you have not been compassionate and charitable, heaven will not send the good master to tell you what to do. Jiang Da Hong (Qing Dynasty)

THE THREE LUCKS

The five elements were developed by ancient chinese scholars as a result of their observation of nature. They noticed everythjing happens in cycles, including the seasons, weather patterns, moon phases, day & night and human life. It is for this reason that the five elements are also referred to as the five phases. In essence the five elements represent a model of the universe which is cyclical, and yet forever changing. Everything on our planet can be explained using this model, including the seasonal changes
