Around the globe there is sickness and there is cure some may be traditional and some not. The topic I am going to discuss is about Jambis traditional medicine which is extracted from mangosteen peel and combined with Soursop which is called Ace Maxs. In this presentation I will tell you about the positive and negative things about mangosteen, its appearance and many more. Mangosteen is a tropical fruit and the parts, which can be used for medical purpose, are the fruit, fruit juice, rind, twig, and bark. Mangosteen is a laxative like Yakult which can cure stomach related problems. Mangosteen is mostly cultivated in tropical rainforests of some Southeast Asian nations like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Sri Lanka. Also the mangosteen tree reaches heights over 15 feet (4.572 m) and takes more than 10 years to ripe (Pedraza). Fruit= The fruit of the mangosteen can be consumed or eaten in many ways like processing it into jams, preserves and also candies. It is a very important seasonal fruit consumed throughout South and East Asia and also claimed by most of the people as one of the best flavor in the world. In China the fruit is useful for tanning leather because it contains 7 to 14% of catechin, tannin and rosin. It also has a black dye.(MHT.com)

 Economic: In Indonesia this fruit is fairly cheap enough for middle class people to buy, but in Europe and America where Mangosteen doesnt grow, the interior skin costs around 20 U.S.D (according to tobenature.com). Also the fruit is physically costly because the fruits hard skin measure more than half of the fruits weight. So when purchasing a kilo of Mangosteen, you only get 400 grams of the interiors Environment: This fruit does not harm the environment because its basically a fruit and so people will just pluck out the fruit, peel it and eat it. Also since Mangosteen has so many cures, people could grow more Mangosteen trees for selling their valuable fruits. Social: This fruit is healthy and nutritious for many people in many ways because it even cures daily life problems from bad breath to stomach ache. But the only time you shouldnt consume Mangosteen is when you are pregnant.
