Introductory Map Assignment

For many of us in this class, we have not travelled beyond our local community or our province. As such, in order to appreciate where issues are occurring in relations to where we live, it is necessary to gain an understanding of the locations of other global communities. The purpose of this activity is to identify nations of the world and to identify locations that are considered hot spots for social, political, economic, environmental, and cultural issues. Remember 1. Include the map requirements for every map. In some instances you may choose to number some features in order to avoid crowding on the map.
