* Note: Release 4.0 software is backward compatible with the previous generation C3 CMTS hardware that supports DOCSIS 1.1/Euro-DOCSIS 1.1 and ATDMA but not SCDMA. By upgrading to Release 4.0 software, certain features are supported with the previous generation C3 CMTS hardware that are not supported when that hardware is running Release 3.0 software. These features are OSPFv2, RIP-to-OSPF Route Redistribution and Secure Shell 2.
