Dear Sir/Madam,

BSNL will migrate the email ids for Sancharnet.in domain on new platform from
Monday 13.10.2014 1500hrs onwards.
So mail users of sancharnet are requested to:-

1. Login at http://mail.bsnl.in/ for webmail, with username as xyz@sancharnet.in &


follow the steps;

2. Outlook/Mail client users should use below settings after migration

Incoming mail server: mail.bsnl.in


Incoming Mail Port: 110
outgoing mail server: smtp.bsnl.in
Outgoing mail Port: 25
User should use username/account name as xyz@sancharnet.in

For accessing mails through Outlook etc. it is compulsory to enable PoP/IMAP, for this
after login go to settings>>Enable PoP & IMAP & follow the instructions.

3. Till migration visit http://oldmail1.bsnl.in/ to access your sancharnet mails

Outlook/Mail client users should use below settings till migration;

Incoming mail server: oldmail.bsnl.in


Incoming mail Port: 110
Outgoing mail server: oldsmtp.bsnl.in
Outgoing mail Port: 25

Username or account name :xyz@bsnl.in or xyz@ sancharnet.in users are requested to


try both of them

4. In case email login password is not working at http://mail.bsnl.in/ users should


check the password at old platform at http://oldmail1.bsnl.in/

& If it is also not working on old platform too, contact NIB node incharge of your city.

5. Sancharnet users currently accessing with username@bsnl.in mail-id must give


preference, whether they would continue with username@sancharnet.in or
username@bsnl.in domain id

Both domain id will not works for single sancharnet account.
