Thanks to God

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ 2 Cor. 2:14.

We thank the Lord for providing us with safety, a reliable vehicle & many praying friends.

WOW! Sept./Oct. 2013 was such a transition time for Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brogue.

If we keep our minds on Him, He will keep us from fainting in our minds (see Heb. 12:3).

We have been to 44 churches thus far, and God is so good to enable us to be at 45%.

A Happy Thanksgiving Greeting to You!

support level

We are so thankful to be back home at Mt. Zion Baptist Church esp. for the holidays.

I trust you and your family and church family will have a wonderful time to stop and thank God for His loving kindness and tender mercies. If He didnt do another thing for us, sending His only begotten Son for us is more than enough to thank Him for all eternity! I am happy to announce that we have gotten word from a few more churches, but I am waiting for the end of the month to acknowledge them specifically as my financial statement comes to me at the end of the month. We are praying to be at 50% by December, Lord willing. Meanwhile, our 2014 calendar is filling up nicely.

Canceled meetings, ear infections, schedule conflicts, communication failures, long rides.

Thank You for Praying & Please Dont Stop!

The hymn says: Oh what peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. We cannot say thank you enough to so many friends who surround our deputation ministry in prayer. This prayer & newsletter goes out to almost 70 contacts (churches and individuals) and I honestly believe that prayer has made the difference and will continue to be the engine that drives our ministry forward. If you wish to be added to my email list, FIRST of all, please secure your pastors permission for correspondence, and SECOND, email me your request at hardecker@gmail.com. Thank you for taking the time to really pray for us! We need it!

When you stop and think about the goodness of the Lord, how He is our Faithful and True Guide, how He provided all things for us according to the riches of His glory by Christ Jesus, you begin to learn that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!

Typhoon Haiyan & A Personal Update:

At 5 AM on Fri. Nov. 8 the deafening winds of Haiyan made landfall in the central-eastern island of Leyte, Philippines. It registered wind gusts up to 235 -mph (w/ sustained 195 mph winds). It also generated 16 ft. ocean waves which slammed into the city of Tacloban (my mothers hometown). Thankfully, many took heed to the evacuation warning but still others thought they could weather the storm. The storm surge ripped through the city and also ripped children from parents grips never to be reunited again. The death toll is up to 3,982 and climbing with 1,602 more missing. After two days of not hearing from my mothers sisters, we finally got word that they are all alive. Thank you for praying and please continue to pray for the many people still hurting. Most especially, pray that the Lord of the harvest would send laborers who will answer Gods call to go and tell people about the Lord Jesus Christ before it is eternally too late!
