December Newsletter 2013

All of our Amazing dancers and tumblers have been working hard and Show Time is almost here!! We cant wait to see you all pe rform in our Christmas Shows!. The 1st show Dec. 18th and the 2nd show Dec. 19th. Both Shows begin at 6:30 sharp and will be held at Taylorsville High School in the Auditorium. Doors will open for seating at 6:10p.m. The 1st few rows will be taped of for CDS Staff. Please be considerate to all performers and remain seated during the entire performance. You will not be allowed to exit during a routine. Each show is only approximately an hour and 20 minutes and everyone deserves an audience. It is very distracting to have audience members getting up and down throughout the show. If you need to go out to help your child with a costume change please do so in between #s! Never stand up in the middle of the routine. We love lots of cheering and applauding from our audience so cheer the dancers on, they deserve it!! The Taylorsville halls and foyer are not a places for loitering, please be inside the auditorium watching the show. Thank you! All regular class female dancers and tumblers will be in the CHOIR room, and female team dancers are in the cafeteria. There will be signs directing you to these rooms. Male dancers/tumblers should remain with their parents and go to the backstage hallway near Choir room and find their class 3 or 4 #s before they are to perform. Female dancers will stay in their assigned rooms with CDS staff, assigned moms and a specific assigned person for each class. Please send 1 parent back to the assigned room at the end of the show to pick up your dancer. Thank you! Be aware: Combo Class Christmas accessories belong to the studio. Bows, hats, tutus, scarves, etc. will all be collected as dancers come off stage to be returned to the studio. If your childs are not removed please return all accessories to your teacher at the next class.(tap shoe tulle can be kept) Thanks! If you come to the show and you are missing something please ask the head mom in charge in the assigned room as she may have extra costume pieces, etc. Please come prepared, as we dont have extras of all things.
