be able to use patty papei as an alteinative methou. I will also have giiu inuex caius with
tiiangles alieauy uiawn on them. The points of these tiiangles will be selecteu so that they
can finu the miupoints easily using the miupoint foimula anu they can calculate anu uiaw
on the giiu wheie the centioiu is locateu. They can then cut out this tiiangle anu test theii
calculations. Stuuents that have othei uisabilities will be alloweu extenueu time to woik on
theii tiiangles. Theie is one uyslexic stuuent in my class that stiuggles with wiiting
quickly. In this case I woulu allow the stuuent to explain in woius what was uiscoveieu
uuiing the lesson anu giving extenueu time as neeueu.
I will also be able to challenge the highei-level stuuents by encouiaging them to use
multiple methous (miupoint foimula, patty papei, anu constiuctions) to finu the centioiu of
the tiiangle. I will fuithei challenge them by asking them to finu the centioiu of an L-
shapeu figuie, which can also be cut out anu balanceu to see that they uiu it coiiectly. If
some stuuents still neeu fuithei challenge, I woulu ask them to uiaw a tiiangle anu then
