Title: Ang Gitamakan Characters: Janine Binobo as the Poor Pregnant Woman, Karissa Grado as Cameraman Felipe Rabanoz as the Man in a Hurry, Angelo Soriano as the Student Setting: Morning at Roxas near ADDU Business Center Plot: A man was in a hurry that was briskly walking towards the school. Because he was in so much rush he accidentally dropped his P 1,000 bill from his jeans back pocket. A student walking behind him saw that a P 1,000 bill fell from the man he was following. Also, an anxious-faced woman was standing just beside where the money fell and saw that a man dropped it. The man didnt notice what had just happened and went inside the school unknowingly. At the moment that the woman saw the money she quickly stepped on it as the intent to keep it for herself. She noticed that the student walking towards her way saw it too and looked surprise to what she did. The student was stunned to what just happened. He saw the mans money fell and his first instinct was to call the man and tell him about it but when he was about to the pregnant woman stepped on it and didnt know what to do next. How is the student going to react in that situation morally and ethically? Will he be able to respond to what is most correct in a moral or ethical way? Options to the Dilemma: 1. The student will go with his first instinct and tell the truth. He is going to call the man that his money fell which the woman is stepping on it. 2. The student will do nothing and will just walk away as if nothing happened. 3. The student has also the intent to keep the money and ask the woman to split it. 4. Peoples View (*subject to group consensus): - Random peoples view about the situation and ask them if they were the student what option will they take. Planned people to interview: Maximum of: two (2) ADDU teachers, three (3) random students, two (2) school staffs (preferably Ate Elevator and Kuya Guard). * Feature an Ethical or Moral theory wherein we can base and justify the rightful option to the situation. - WE NEED SIRs help! Hehehe Inside Stories: Man - He was in a hurry because he was late for a meeting. Student After his class, he was planning to buy a new pair of shoes which he had been saving for weeks. Poor Pregnant Woman She doesnt have enough money to go home. She has been praying that someone would give her money. REAL ENDING: The student politely asks the woman to return the money to the man. She refused because she believed that it was the money she has been praying for minutes ago and she explained to the student that she doesnt have money to go home. So the student gave her enough money to go home which the woman agreed and took the P1, 000 bill and hurriedly followed the man to return it. Fortunately, the student saw the man and returned the money. To his surprise, it was his Philo professor. His professor thanked him greatly.
