Objective and benefits

This template provides a standardized format for documenting detailed business requirements and testing conditions/
scenarios for development of custom WRICEF (W stands for Workflow, R stands for Reports, I stands for Interfaces, C stands
for Conversions, E stands for Enhancements and F stands for Forms) objects. This detailed requirement document along with
the testing conditions will be in turn used for the development of functional specification documents for the same objects.
This document will be created by a member of the business functional team.
How to use this tool/enabler
This document is a template for maintaining detailed business requirements and testing conditions/ scenarios enhancement
specification document for a project The template
includes the instructions to the author, boilerplate text, and fields that should be replaced with the values specific to the
project.

* Text and tables in black are provided as boilerplate examples of wording and formats that may be used or modified as
appropriate as needed.  These are offered only as suggestions to assist in developing project documents.
When using this template for your project document, it is recommended that you follow these steps:
1. Replace all text enclosed in angle brackets (i.e., <Project Name>) with the correct field values. 
2. Modify boilerplate text as appropriate to the specific project. 
3. To add any new sections to the document, ensure that the appropriate header and body text styles are maintained.  Styles
used for the Section Headings are Heading 1, Heading 2 and Heading 3.  Style used for boilerplate text is Body Text.
4. To update the Table of Contents, right-click and select “Update field” and choose the option- “Update entire table”.

3. Requirement Summary and Business Drivers

Auto-notification on exceeding the limits of measuring values highly minimizes the human errors and machine
reliability.

4. Detailed Business Requirements

Currently we have a Preventive Maintenacne schedule of condition monitoring of equipments as per pre-described
frequencies. Operator note the measuring values and write it onto a pre-formulated format (e.g. vibration &
temperature of bearings etc.) and got it signed by concerned authorities. Mostly it takes a huge time to complete the
condition monitoring of a whole plant and sometimes it got neglected by authorities to take a deep insight of values
and consequently failure occurs in case of either negligence or late information.
So in order to avoid this probability of failure, we have take a pro-active approach and decided that operator will
note these values directly onto PM module via a tablet of any gadget. In case of deviation from standard limits, an
auto-notification will be created into the system which will intimate the concerned authorities to take the action
accordingly. In this way we will save the asset life and any sudden production loss.
