Jakarta is the city which is densely populated by diverse people from various background of life !o keep their life" Jakarta citi#ens should face a great deal of competition each day $ou can see people strive hard every single day to support their life from morning until midnight in this city %nfortunately" the ability of Jakarta citi#ens in life competition cannot be generali#ed !he different education background of the citi#ens leads us to the fact that there are many tycoons yet paupers in Jakarta &or some people who have sufficient knowledge" it is easier for them to prosper their selves because they can ma'imi#e their knowledge and skills for their welfare(s sake )owever" the uneducated citi#ens" get difficulty in develop their ability and skills which makes them trapped in poverty vivacious circle *n +0,0" -ice Chairman of Jakarta Child .rotective /ervice" /unarto" said that every year the number of street children in Jakarta increases +0010 percent !he main reason of that phenomenon is poverty 2oreover" many children cannot go to school because they have to work to sustain life *n 2uara 3ngke Jakarta" for e'ample" many children cannot go to school because they have to work by being shells stringer *f many of young people become the street children and laborers" which means they do not get conducive material and immaterial education" how will they compete for future4 )ow could they get prosperous life in future4 *t is nonsense to break poverty chain without renovating the education condition Central and local government have to put e'tra attention to children laborers and street children *f they are not given big concerns" eradicating poverty in Jakarta is only utopia 5overnment needs to specifically check the distribution of education budget whether it is distributed well or not !he evaluation about 67/ distribution should be held also to answer needs of many children to get proper education 8levating the education standard in Jakarta is also the whole citi#en responsibility" especially young people !he establishment of some youth organi#ation like &orum &or *ndonesia" *ndonesian &uture 9eaders" and *ndonesia 6erbagi should become a sign that *ndonesian youths care and have eager to develop the country With these organi#ations" youths can contribute their ability to enhance the education for children without ade:uate money &or e'ample" they can make an education program by giving
