You and your partner are international representatives for your country and are in charge of this years

global recreation and tourism conference presentation. You must create some sort of creative and eye catching display to encourage travelers to pick your destination. This years conference theme is traditions and customs. You must choose a tradition or custom from your country to present to the audience at the conference. The presentation should be between 3-5 minutes in length and include a written portion. The writing should be at least a paragraph, 5-8 sentences, and should explain the important aspects and details of your presentation. Presentation Ideas: Power Point Prezi Song Poem Skit Craft o Something relating to your tradition or custom for example an offering or piata Video *If there is something else not listed just get the teachers permission first*

The conference will be held in two weeks here in our classroom. By next Tuesday you should turn in a rough draft of your written portion as well as a list of all your research sources in MLA format. By the following Monday you should turn in a hard copy of your presentation, if you are doing a skit, song, or poem there should be a script, to be looked over by the conference committee. Presentations will be Wednesday April 23rd and Thursday April 24th. *Remember this is a Spanish conference so all your work needs to be completed in Spanish except todays first research worksheet. Everything after today needs to be in Spanish.*
