To: Whom it May Concern Letter of Recommendation for Ashley Hurt: It is truly an honor for me to write this letter of support for Ashley Huft, a student whom I have known for over four years as a student aide, outstanding student and as my advisee and who is just completing her student teaching at Ithaca South Elementary School. Ashley is a first rate elementary education student and an incredible service-oriented individual. Ashley has been a student here at Alma for the past four years and has been part of several volunteer and service endeavors, which makes it very easy for me to recommend her for any teaching position. Not only is Ashley's academic work ethic very good, but also the quality of her work has always been wonderful. Ashley's dedication to her coursework shows in her great grades and in her desire to be an outstanding tactician of her teaching skills. She has the ability to make her content come alive for her students (as seen in her Student Teaching experience) building a natural caring relationship for in those she serves. Ashley has proven, through the years' to be not only service orientated, but also exhibits unique personal skills that stand above

Another skill that separates Ashley above the other nominees that I have written letters for is her incredible ability to encourage and build up others above herself. Ashley is truly a selfless individual who gives to others in order to see them grow Ashley is a great team player who would add to any teaching team she is put on! Ashley lives the motto of "it is more important to give than to receive" in her everyday life. Many of those around her age will talk this motto, but Ashley lives it out in her actions and beliefs. This, in my estimation, is a reflection of a true team member and commitment toward others, fulfilling the Alma College mission statement of serving generously - A very rare skill to have at such an early time in ones career!

Finally, Ashley is the complete teaching package with wonderful academic performance, discipline and dedication to others. She has intense desire to serve others in order to leave the world a better place.
