What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

 Throughout the process of creating out final piece I have learned how to use many different media websites, different types of equipment and editing programmes. or e!ample" the websites I have gained more s#ill using are$ Tumblr and %ouTube. The equipment I have used$ &amera, sound #it and tripod. inally the editing programme used to create our final piece was 'remiere 'ro.

 (efore starting our final piece, I had to set up a )tumblr* account to blog any updates I had made on research, filming or any editing processes. Tumblr has been used to represent our production and progress throughout creating out final piece. rom te!t to pictures, lin#s to videos" tumblr helps broadcast a range of interesting updates. Through tumblr, I posted the stages of our filming and blogged a rough copy of )+ 'erfect &oincidence* and our final piece. ,ot only does this allow people across tumblr to see the progress made" it also represents that, as a team, we built up our technical s#ills throughout the process.

-nce we had completed the filming process of our piece, we began to edit. To do this is a professional and easy way, we used an editing programme #nown as" 'remiere 'ro. This allowed the team and myself to edit clips together, cut clips that we felt were too long, speed up any slow clips, edit sound onto our piece and use a variety of transitions e.g. dissolving. I believe that my level of s#ill has increased using the programme and in addition to that" I would feel confident with using the programme to edit anything in the future. In this particular shot, we decided to speed up our character when washing her face as we agreed that it too# too long and was becoming tedious to watch. +nother editing tool we used was to split the screen so our parallel storyline became clearer.

 When we believed and agreed that our piece was at a standard where people would understand what is going on" we e!ported it onto %ouTube" allowing it then to be posted onto my tumblr account. (y using %ouTube as the broadcasting website for our piece, I have learned how to embed clips, import clips onto %ouTube and understand how it wor#s. %ouTube was also used for different thins as well, such as" animatics, rough edits and our final piece.

&amera / When filming out title sequence we believed that a camera of high quality would help us gain ma!imum potential with our piece. Throughout the filming process, I have learned how to 0oom in and out, focus, and ta#e still shots with the camera. With the camera" we also used a tripod. This allowed us to film accurately without the camera sha#ing when wal#ing or with filming in one direction. The tripod also allowed us to #eep the camera at an angle which was perfectly even, this was done with a balance guide which was attached to the tripod. In addition, the tripod helped us to put the camera at the right height for the clip that we were filming. The last piece of equipment I have gained #nowledge and s#ill on is the sound #it. This was used when any dialogue was present in our sequence. The microphones allowed us to record all relevant dialogue and filtered out any irrelevant bac#ground noise.
