Nigel Stewart started making cider under the name of Sanford Cider in Dorset before moving to Bridge farm. He uses apples grown in his own orchards or harvested locally. One of the largest independent cider producers with a range of traditional, keg and bottled ciders. Champion perry 2009. Julian Temperley is a well known cider character, and has been producing cider brandy since 1989. His 'cider bus' serves Glastonbury festival. Butford Farm is a mixed organic smallholding. Janet and Martin Harris started selling cider in 2001, and have increased production each year. The cider is hand-pressed from unsprayed apples and fermented in Cambridgeshire. Started 1983, using own orchards. The cider, made from Bramleys and other mixed dessert apples, is matured for up to two years before they are sold. A small Leicestershire producer Castle Cider was set up in 1987 by Tim Davies and his brother Rick. Only Kentish apples from local farmers are used. Michael and John Dinnage began cidermaking in 1993. They use a blend of locally-sourced predominantly bitter-sweet cider apples. Producing in Berkshire since 2003. Primarily uses local cookers and eaters, but Dab Hand uses Dabinett cider apples. Rory Souter has been making cider for about 9 years, using cider apples from the Cotswolds. Cider has been produced since 1858.In 1972 the old press (on display at the North Cornwall Museum) was replaced by a hydraulic mill and press. Ben Crossman uses a wide range of Somerset cider apple varieties to produce his traditional, unfiltered, farmhouse cider. Small scale craft cider producer based in Flintshire

Penny and Oliver Strong own and run the orchard with their five children. Oliver has built the apple press, the cider barn and their family home, all set in the Orchard. The company started in 1995 in Staplehurst. Until recently they were the only Kent perry maker. Lancashire's first semicommercial cider producer is set in the Ribble Valley and uses locally picked Lancashire apples. From the Hampshire/West Sussex border, the cider is made from their own coastline orchards Dunkertons is a family company started in 1979 by Susie and Ivor Dunkerton in a smallholding of 18 acres. All their ciders and perries are organic. Green Valley Cider was founded in 1989 by Chris Coles using only traditional Bittersweet cider apples grown in Devon. Denis Gwatkin uses apples and pears from the farm's original orchards and other local orchards which grow along the Golden Valley. Gold award cider & bronze perry 2009.

The Hecks have been making cider since 1840. They still use wooden barrels to mature the Somerset cider, with all apples grown in their own orchards, and produce many single varietals. Founded by Roger Hesten and Dave Harrison in 2010, they use traditional varieties of cider apples and perry pears. From Kynaston, just outside Much Marcle. Some of the orchards used are several hundred years old. From Mersham, near Ashford in Kent. Handmade ciders and perries from fresh local fruit. Kevin Minchew is also known as one of the most enthusiastic conservators of rare varieties, especially of perry pears. A specialist perry producer from the heartland of perry production. Rob and Caroline Gibbon were initially inspired by Ampleforth Abbey and have been making cider in East Yorkshire since 2008. A founding member of Swamp Donkey Cider, Angus Whitehead decided to expand and set up on his own in 2003. Piglets Choice cider is made in the village of Nempnett Thrubwell, sheltered by the Mendip Hills. Trefor Powell makes cider and occasionally perry from Radnorshire fruit at Betws Cottage near Llandrindod Wells. Organic Apple and Pear farm based in Robertsbridge. Olivers Cider & Perry is a producer of distinctive Herefordshire single varietals and blends. The pressed fruit is fermented by wild yeasts and then matured in oak barrels. Joint bronze perry 2011

Toby and Sian started producing cider on a small scale in 2010 and went commercial last year. They planted their own orchard of about 400 trees and also source apples from elsewhere. The Orchards of Husthwaite Cooperative was formed in 2009 with the intention of replanting the vanishing orchards of Husthwaite and using the fruit to make a variety of products.

Phil and Jeanette make cider at Parsonage Farm, using all locally sourced cider apples. Family firm founded in 1923 and still going strong. Despite the name, they only make cider - no perry! Pine Trees Farm has 50 acres of orchards, from which the apples produce apple juice and Dudda's Tun cider Produced at Middle Farm, the home of The National Collection of Cider & Perry, a unique celebration of our national fruit. Based at Potton in Bedfordshire, Jon Weekes makes cider and perry using local fruit From Holmfirth, cider has been produced commercially since 2010 using apples from their own orchards. John Scales makes cider from local Buckinghamshire apples. Raglan Cider Mill is a family-run business, using traditional Welsh varieties of apple and pear. They have recently opened their own Cider House. Mark Powell produces cider on a small scale in Benson. Gordon Rich started making farmhouse cider over 50 years ago. Today his daughter runs the business. The cider is matured in huge oak vats. Steve is currently establishing a multi-variety orchard (50 varieties to date). He produces 3 different ciders. CAMRA silver 2009. Mike Johnson is 2009 winner of CAMRA's Pomona award, and conitnues to encourage and assist many budding cidermakers. Broome Farm has both modern bush and traditional standard orchards, which include over 70 varieties of cider apple and perry pear trees. Greg Davies makes Salthill cider in his shed in Slough Dickie Allen makes Scropton cider, the oldest commercial cider producer in Derbyshire. Made in Awre on the banks of the river Severn, using fruit selected from local orchards producing traditional varieties.

Family run cidermakers since the early 1800s with 47 acres of cider orchards and a cider museum. The fruit comes from their own orchards in Sherston, on the South East fringes of the Cotswolds. A local producer from Aldershot. The bush orchards at Springfield Farm were planted in 1998 and contain cider apple varieties only. They started producing cider in 2004 using apples exclusively from their orchards. A new Kent producer, using a variety of apples from the Garden of England. Fermented with natural yeats strains. Winner of the Kent regional cider competition 2014 Cider has been produced in Tardebigge near Bromsgrove since 1999, using apples from their own orchard Produced from locally grown Derbyshire fruit, including apples from their own orchard Troggi Seidr was founded in 1986 by Michael Penney. The Troggi is the brook running through Earlswood Valley. Whole juice cider and perry are made using only traditional methods. Tim Wale started making cider in Tutts Clump in 2006 using eating and cooking apples from within West Berkshire. Went commercial in 2009 Pete Robinson and Martin Sharp have been making Uncle Stoat's cider in Sussex since 1998 Started in 2006 from a smallholding in Clyst St Lawrence, Mark Venton is now producing more than 1000 gallons of strawpressed cider each year.

Founded in 1992. John Harris is a traditional cider maker, supplying both wholesale and retail outlets with his prizewinning ciders. Westlake farm makes traditional West Country cider from their own Devon cider apples. Mark and Lisa Jarvis took over the Wells-next-the-sea cider business in 2012. Based in Ledbury, Brian Wilce makes traditional cider with his family Their cider is made using wildling apples from the South Downs. Roger Wilkins is a well-known cider character. The family business was set up by his Grandfather in 1917. Land's End is a working farm but Roger is always available to make a trip to the cider cellar! Formed on 26 January 1999 on part of the site of Inch's cider. To honour Sam Inch, (founder of Inch's), one of their cider ranges has been named after him. Formed in 2003 to use the traditional cider orchard on the farm. The cider is fermented and matured in oak barrels, mainly ex rum barrels. Simon Vaughan has been making small scale cider in Woodley for several years A small producer from Milton Keynes Rick Wyatt's cider is made by natural fermentation of local cookers and eaters as well as cider apples from Douai Abbey. The majority of his production is now bottled.
