small book to the teacher.

- Inform the students the expectations: not running
around, interrupting the teacher, etc. while the
teacher is reading the book.
- Instruct/guide the students to make two-columns and
label the one on the left What I Think and the one
on the right What it is.

set aside to read a book for me, the students are to fill in
the worksheet.
5. Questions?
Visualizing is a fun way for us to be a part of the story and the character. It allows us to use
our imaginations and be creative with interpreting the story!

Running Records: no pressure, dont tell the students its a test
Literacy Review: an opportunity for me to know more about the students, any questions are
welcome (be respectful of the student reading the book though).
