Grotscon 2013 Warhammer Fantasy Scenario Pack

Each scenario listed here will be played once during the Warhammer Fantasy tournament held at Grotscon 2013. The order
listed here does not determine the order in which they will be played. Balanced lists able to complete a ariety o! the
missions listed in each scenario will be "ey to ictory in this tournament. Good luc" to all o! you.
Scenario Outline
#ll scenarios listed here use the !ollowing basic set$up with uni%ue modi!ications. &lease read this core outline as well as
each scenario care!ully as scoring points and win conditions are not e'actly the same as listed in the Warhammer Fantasy (
th

Edition )uleboo". Each player scores both ictory points and *cenario &oints throughout the game. These points are used !or
determining both the winner o! the game and the amount o! *cenario &oints you are awarded !or oerall positions. Ensure
you are !amiliar with the way points are scored and understand both players may wal" a way with a ariety o! *cenario
&oints each game.
The Armies
Each army is made up o! the 2+00 point list each player cra!ted !or this tournament. The list cannot be changed be!ore
scenario and must be played as submitted unless altered by a ,udge !or a alid reason-oer.under points etc/
The Battlefield
Terrain is preset and may not be moed0 e'cept by Wood Eles using their uni%ue *pell 1ore -please see the Warhammer
Fantasy &layer &ac"age !or more detail/. *ome tables with hae special or uni%ue terrain with additional rules. These rules
will be labelled at the table and will !ollow them. 2n the case o! magical or mysterious terrain0 these will be mar"ed as such.
e!loyment and Turn Order
3nce ob,ectie mar"ers -i! any/ hae been placed and special terrain rules understood0 players will roll o!! to decide
deployment order. Follow all normal deployment rules !or the 4eployment style listed in the Warhammer Fantasy (

)uleboo". Each scenario is clearly listed which 4eployment style it will !ollow.
Game "en#th
Each game will last 5 turns0 ending on the close o! the second players si'th turn. The game may also be called 64ice 4own7
due to the round time e'piring. &lease ensure you !ollow the rules !or 64ice 4own7 as listed in the Warhammer Fantasy
&layer &ac"age.
Scorin#
#t the end o! each game calculate the amount o! ictory points both players hae earned. 2nclude all ictory points listed
under 8ictory 9onditions -see page 1+3 : Warhammer Fantasy (

consider player 10 while the player with less is player 2. 4etermine the di!!erence in ictory points between the two players
and use the chart below to determine the amount o! *cenario &oints scored by each player.
&lease note that each player may earn *cenario &oints. 3nce these are !igured out0 add them to the amount o! *cenario &oints
earned !or completing the scenario ob,ecties -see scenario/ and report this to the ;udge-s/.

&lease note that should you table an opponent -remoe eery single model !rom the table in a turn/ the game is oer
regardless o! any models that may be in resere. 9ount the game as though 64ice 4own7 has been called and calculate
ictory points as normal. #ny scenario ob,ecties that were achieed by either player in the dice down state -or be!ore/ will
count !or the player who scored them. <eep in mind both players may earn *cenario &oints at the outcome o! the battle
despite a tabling.

Scenario T-o % eath Before ishonour
Battle lines have been drawn and both forces demand the attention of their gods. Such demands come with a cost though and those found
wanting in the gods eyes will suffer worse than death. Knowing this each solider prepares to die before they surrender.

Scenario Three % Break the "ine
The only way to route the enemy is to smash their forces and remove their supply lines. Both Generals know this and have chosen to make
the dash for the supplies a primary focus of the coming battle. As the battle starts both forces will manoeuvre to gain advantage, but
which will make it through the line

Scenario S!ecial O$)ecti*e % Feud Finished
#t the end o! the game i! a player has earned ictory points !or his opponents unit chosen ia the Blood Feud special rule
-see below/ that player earns 1 *cenario &oint.
&ission S!ecial ,ules
Blood FeudB #t the start o! the game each player must select one enemy unit that their army has a blood !eud with. 2! that
unit is destroyed or !lees !rom the table it is worth 1.@' -rounding down/ ictory points. -*o a unit worth 2(? points would
instead be worth +30 ictory points/
Scenario Four % For the Gods
A faint glow from the idol attracts all eyes. Both armies look upon it and know that the Gods themselves are watching with interest, and
the touch of the idol will bring them the glory and the victory they sorely crave.

#t the end o! the game i! a player has a non$!leeing unit !rom the 93)E section o! their army boo" with at least one model
within 37 o! the ob,ectie and their opponent has no models within 37 o! it they hae captured and held the ob,ectie. The
player who achiees this ob,ectie gains 2 *cenario &oints.
Scenario S!ecial O$)ecti*e % 0iss the 1dol
The !irst player to 6<iss the 2dol7 -see special rule below/ earns 1 *cenario &oint.
&ission S!ecial ,ules
2dolB The ob,ectie placed on the board is an idol o! the gods. #t the beginning o! each players turn they may roll a 45 !or
each character they hae in base contact with the idol. 2! the roll is a 5 the idol is "issed !or luc" by the character and that
character gains D1 *trength and Toughness !or the rest o! the turn. This can happen to multiple characters0 multiple times in
the game.
Brea" FeatureB &lease ignore the brea" !eature o! the standard Blood and Glory scenario. Ese only the style o! deployment as
listed.
