Judging on the attire in the photo above it is hard to believe

that we are on our way to Denver Colorado to minus 20

Degree Celsius temperatures. Regardless we board the plane
together on the 30th December 2010 in Auckland ready for 5
weeks of skiing. Rhys, Deanna, their toddler Lexa and 5
teenagers navigated through San Fran Airport with plenty of
time before the next ight to Denver (even with a little
detour by one). Once arriving in Denver and pulling out all
the warm ski clothes to rug up in we loaded up the 12
passenger van with all our gear and headed for the grocery
store and some dinner. Arriving late at night to Keystone we
all headed to bed. Having a nice sleep in and jet lag aside we
eventually arose and ventured out into the

Training at Woodward at Copper Mt
was a highlight for all. It allowed
everyone to practice their tricks in a
safe environment using the foam pits
and trampolines.
Off mountain activities included
shopping (yes even for the boys), day
trips to Denver, ten pin bowling and
a day trip to Aspen to see all the
pros compete at the X-Games!
Everyone was very helpful around
the house and we really enjoyed
having them around.
We are so excited to be able to offer
this opportunity to motivated teens
again for 2012. Planing is already
taking place and if you are

mountains. Having a great time exploring the 5 Ski
Resorts and what they had to offer, the group really
developed their skills and condence by the end of the
month. Skills in the terrain park on jumps and rails saw
tricks like 540s, front, back and sideways ips, corked
720s, 270 on and offs and all-round sickness being
thrown down daily. They even got to ski along side some
of the pros like Jossi Wells, Simon Dumont and Colby
West.
