Status of development
The developer has asked the city to rezone the
property to allow homes.
The city is accepting requests for qualifications from
developers interested in 150 acres where the city
wants commercial development and up to 800
homes.
Development is in progress.
A development plan was approved, but owner
Francis Collins may seek to change it.
Developer Tim Lewis Communities is seeking
approvals to redevelop this property into up to 414
new residences and 25,000 square feet of shops.
Developer Tim Lewis Communities purchased this
property, adjacent to the Del Monte warehouse,
and WHAT.
A proposal to build homes on this property was
suspended, but developer Harbor Bay Isle Associates
is still moving forward on a proposal to build a new
club on North Loop Road.

Approved and awaiting development.
The approval process has been placed on hold since
the state has refused to allow developer Tim Lewis
Communities to access the road for its proposed
development. A measure to prohibit housing
development is also likely headed to the ballot.
