The symbol H, which embosses the mission of Hyundai Steel, stands for High Spirit, Harmony,
and Humanity. The firm and stable axes on both sides of the H imply the past and new businesses
and customers. The bridge connecting the two axes suggests a promising future of Hyundai Steel,
growing with balanced contact and integration of both axes.
The bright blue color shows the leading position of Hyundai Steel in future environmental concerns,
proposing a new blueprint based on modern technology and reliability. In other words, High Spirit,
Harmony, Humanity collectively represent that Hyundai Steel will grow into a world-leading steel
company with high spirit and harmony, thereby contributing to the humanity.

The plant has a production capability of 4.52 million tons of steelmaking and 4.26
million tons of rolling on a total area of 920,000 . It is a representative plant
practicing green management since industrial water used at Incheon plant is recycled
from Gwjwa Water Recycling System by annually treating 5 million tons of sewage.
Steel pier at Incheon North Port, completed in January 2007, is composed of 2 wharfs with 50,000 ton capacity and shows
excellent reduction in logistics costs and reducing environment pollutions.

It has a total area of 7,390,000 and broadly divided into A-block, B-block and C-block
for constructing iron works. A-block consists of a Reinforcing Bars plant with an annual
capacity of 1.2 million tons and hot-rolled steel mill producing hot-rolled steel with steel
scrap as materials. B-block is composed of hot-rolled steel mill with annual capacity of 3 million tons. An integrated steel mill is
being constructed in C-block that will include blast furnace. The capacity to produce crude steel at Dangjin Plant is 3.43 million
tons and the capacity to produce products like Reinforcing Bars, hot-rolled steel plate is 6.06 million tons. Integrated steel mill is
constructed in the future, it will bounce Hyundai Steel back and will rewrite the history of Korean steel industry.

The plant has a production capacity of 3.2 million tons of steelmaking and 3.25 million
tons of rolling on a total area of 660,000 and manufactures various products like Hbeams, Reinforcing Bars, Round steel and Heavy machineries. The plant especially is
the only one supplying rails for high-speed railways and normal railways and
manufacturing rolling recognized as a first-class product in the world and leading domestic rolling markets. The plant is being
renovated by replacing selling facilities.

A plant was invested in China in July 2000 and has the production capability of 15,000
units of T/ASSY for excavators, 8,000 units of roller on total area of 66,000. Hyundai
Steel is actively developing the Chinese market with the Chingdao plant, which took first
place in the undercarriage market which is a part for excavators within 2 years and 3
months after the start of operations in October 2002 and has about 50% of market share.

.

If the idler, or the floating seal of the sprocket are damaged, corroded, or worn out,
the idler & sprocket may sway, causing wear out in interior of track link.
If the Track Shoe is used at a length of 700~900mm in rocky mountains, the sectional concentrated load may
disconnect the bolt or damage the shoe. Please use the equipment at 600mm standard.
Recycling or reusing Clamping Pin for the Master Pin is likely to damage the Clamping Pin and
may cause the Master Pin to fall out.
A sudden change of direction may cause the Track Bolt to be shorn and fall out, which can injure people when hit by.
When lifting a side with boom and idling the track for equipment inspection, sleeves, cuffs, etc.
may get entangled or stuck, leading to injuries.
During work in rocky mountain or roadside breaker, moving of the entire device may break the stone
under the shoe board, which may hit and injure people.

Roller Assembly

Cautions in using Roller Assembly

Cautions in using Fork Assembly

If the space-between Carriage Bar equipped on Fork Arm and Fork Hook-is too wide,
the Hook welding may be damaged, causing Fork Arm to fall and injure people.
The forklift driver at his own discretion modifying or transforming the Fork Arm for convenience may
lead to intensity degradation of the Fork Arm, and cause disconnection.
Executing wire jobs by punching holes on vertical hem of the Fork Arm may cause disconnection
of the vertical hem or other accidents.
Pulling stowages with boring in the center with single fork may cause Fork Arm disconnection by
exceeding regulatory load. (work with 1/2 of the regulatory load)
Using only the tip of the Fork Arm may apply excessive moment on the device, causing damages.
Proceeding with lifting job with a person on the Fork Arm may cause slipping/fall accidents.
Widening or folding the Fork Arm when the forklift is tilted applies excessive force and may cause back injuries.
Traction jobs, with wires on the Fork Arm may cause injuries due to unsecured knots or
fixations leading the wire or fixture to snap out.
Single person lifting the Fork Arm for disassembly or installation work may cause back injuries.
Attaching a separate structure on the Fork Arm to elongate the range may concentrate the
fatigue load on the Fork Arm and, lead to early damages and malfunctions.
When placing the weights on the ground, if the heel of the Fork Arm touches the ground first,
excessive load is applied to the heel of the Fork Arm, causes wear out, and leads to disconnection.
If the wear out of Fork Arm Heel is severe, the Fork Arm may be disconnected even in a proper load work.
If the longitudinal difference of left and right Fork Arms is greater than standard,
the load status of the stowage becomes unstable, causing risks of falls or overturns during transportation.
If the weight of the stowage is partially concentrated, causing excessive load on Fork Arm,
the fork Arm may be bent or disconnected.
People moving under the Fork Arm loaded with weight have risks of disasters caused from drop of the weight,
disconnection, or chain damages.
Driving the equipment with lifting the stowage too high may cause collisions with cables or elevated facilities,
leading to electric shocks and falls or overturns of stowages.
