YWAM Internship
The weeks have never ew by so fast! I have been keeping busy here, at YWAM MoBay, as there is heaps to
prepare for, teams coming in and events to be held. My weekly schedule consist of helping around base with
yard work; planning and coordinating Access Youth Camp that will be held in July; drawing, painting, designing
props, banners and designs for Access (Taxi picture in bottom left(: ); going out on outreach with the teams as
much as I can manage; Friday evangelism in the community; dance, choreography and conditioning classes;
Bible studies, worship and so much more! This month has been a whirlwind of time crunches, deadlines,
rehearsals and fun! I have made awesome relationships on and off base
that have been so encouraging to me. God is doing so much in my life
through this time and these different experiences and has been
teaching about myself and Him along the way. I am so blessed to be
here and I thank you all for your support in prayer and nances.
Please, pray about partnering with me in monthly support as I
continue in foreign missions and please email me if you have and
questions! God bless you in all you do, Bet.

The many opportunities I am
receiving here in Jamaica
We have seen 14 people come
to Christ this month through
street evangelism and church
events.
For the family (The Laings)
that I am now living with on
base!
Meet Andrew
I met Andrew at Cliffton Boys Home about
an hour outside of Montego Bay. We had 2 Mission
Jamaica Teams come visit base and this was one of
their main outreach locations. Andrew is a 17 year old
boy, who lives with about 28 other boys from ages 10
all the way to 22. He has an amazing talent for soccer
and dreams to go to America one day to study in the
Arts, he is also talented in painting and drawing. Andrew shared that he
lived in foster and boys homes since age 7 after his mom died. He has never
met his father and his sister is in America, but she does not know where he
is. Pray the Andrews dream of going to America can come to a reality!
A little deeper
A tribute to Romeo
Romeo Clatney (In the green shirt) had been living on the YWAM
Montego Bay base with us for a couple months with the Doyle family that kindly
and gladly took him in after getting to know him and love him from one of the
rst times they visited Jamaica in missions. Romeo quickly became part of the
family here on base and we had just celebrated his 23 birthday on Friday, June 6.
On Saturday, June 7 we got the shocking call that Romeo had been shot and
killed in Kingston, Jamaica while visiting family. Romeos death was
heartbreaking and shocking to us all and he is dearly missed. Please, keep the
Doyle family in mind as this is like losing a son to them and a brother to the
Doyle children (Ayla and Eli). He came to know and love the Lord before his
death. Romeo was a great friend and he is so missed.

some soccer!
Goats will be seen all over
Jamaica, either roped in
elds, walked on leashes or
roaming wildly about (or on
your dinner plate)! This little
guy almost came home with
me!
Ive gotten the opportunity
to make a little extra
money by doing hair
wraps, braids and even
dreads to the girls that
come with teams!
Romario never stopped dancing at
Cliffton Boys Home! Either from
music playing from our bus, from our
phones or even to a Bop It game!

a little less athletic (:
