Before adding a coating to Hilti firestop products the approvals valid for this country should be checked very
carefully by the installer. The specific type of coating has to be listened inside the approvals issued by official
authorities of this country.
In any case the installer has to test the foreseen painting with the firestop product before use.

Some recommendations for the first choice of painting. The points mentioned above have to be checked
very carefully prior to use.

CP601S Silicones can not be coated by normal coatings, the only way would be to add another
coloured silicon to CP601S surface.
CP604 Silicones can not be coated by normal coatings, the only way would be to add another
coloured silicon to CP604 surface.
CP606 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. Movement capability of the
coating should be greater than 15% acc. ISO 11600.
CP611A Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. Movement capability of the
coating should be greater than 10% acc. ISO 11600.
CP612 = FS ONE Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. Movement capability of the
coating should be greater than 10% acc. ISO 11600.
CP620 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0.
CP636 Any type of coating can be used.
CP642 Please do not coat the jacket.
CP643 Please do not coat the jacket.
CP651 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. The coating should be very
elastic because good deformation of the cushions.
CP655, 656,615, 665 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0.
CP657, 658,659 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0.
CP670 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. Movement capability should be
bigger than 30%.
CP671 No coating should be used.
CP672 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. Movement capability should be
bigger than 50%.
CP673 Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0. Movement capability should be
bigger than 30%.
CP678 No coating should be used.
CP679 A Water based, solvent free coatings as like as acrylates, PVA or latex based paintings.
PH-value of the coating should be between 6,0 and 8,0.
CP679 I No coating should be used.
CP680 Plastic PE parts could be coated if possible metal parts should not be coated.
