Hold the head and body piece on a flat surface. Pin the front legs to body using picture as a reference. Feet should rest evenly on the floor, body upright. Sew in place. Pin the back legs to sides of body, close to front legs, making sure the sides of legs rest on the floor. Sew in place. If you want the front legs to stay upright and not slide out, you can tack the lower leg to the body with a bit of leftover yarn. Hide ends.

Put both pieces wrong sides together, put hook through next sc on yellow and in any sc on brown. Sc around through both pieces (29 sc) and leave the last st unworked. Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. 8. Pinch the bottom of the ear with the yellow on the outside where you just finished off, and sew a few stitches to keep it looking pinched. Secure well, then pin ears to head and sew in place.

Tail Cut 6 strands of yellow, about 2 feet long. Using a larger crochet hook, pull the yarn through the bottom middle on back. Even both sides out and separate into 3 four strand sections and braid to the desired length. Knot at the end and trim.
