RESERVOIR DOGS (1992)
The flm has a genuinely eclectic cast featuring the awesome
talents of Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Steve
Buscemi, Chris Penn, and Lawrence Tierney. Over the last
twenty years the number of RESERVOIR DOGS fans has
grown along with the career of Tarantino, and rightly so. If
youre looking for the best of independent flm the 90s had to
offer, then you couldnt start with a better movie than this. 8/7
STEEL MAGNOLIAS (1989)
These ladies are guaranteed to inspire you just as sure as theyll
make you bawl your eyes out and then crack you up. Because
we all know laughter through tears is the best emotion. So
tease up your hair, grab your bestie and join us for a cinematic
celebration of friendship, perms and Southern living. Itll be

WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER QUOTE-ALONG (2001)
Its the last day of the summer season at Camp Firewood, and
all the campers and counselors are trying to make sure they
create memories that will last a lifetime. For some, that means
fnally experiencing the Ultimate, for others it just means
chewing some gum and then frenching a lot. Oh, and then
theres that satellite thats threatening to fall from the sky and
crush the camp during the big fnal talent show of the season!

Several pillars of society have robbed an Army safe contain-
ing $100,000 so they can buy the land upon which the coming
railroad will be built. But they havent reckoned on the presence
of the master gunslinger, Sabata. Plus the option of unlimited
spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. 8/27
ELVIS: THATS THE WAY IT IS (1970)
A candid look at Elvis Presley at a point when he decided to
permanently abandon movie roles and return triumphantly
to concert gigs. It shows him strutting around Vegas with his
entourage, painstakingly preparing for his stage show, relaxing
backstage and trading jokes with his vocal accompanists, and,
of course, Elvis before a live, loud audience. 8/17

Two hundred years of American technology has unwittingly
created a massive cement playground of unlimited poten-
tial. But it was the minds of 11 year olds that could see that
potential. A documentary about the pioneering and revolution-
ary 1970s Zephyr skating team. A group of South LA gutter
rats that changed popular culture forever. Teaming up with
Lagunitas Brewing Company who will be providing some
excellent beers and some limited edition skateboards all for the

Over their storied careers the Marx Brothers have created so
many classic moments you cant come close to counting them
on all of your fngers and toes. Because of this, its so hard to
name their defnitive masterpiece. But were going to tell you a
little secret in case you ever fnd yourself in a life-or-death situ-
ation and need to choose: The answer is DUCK SOUP. 8/21
THE WARRIORS (1979)
Preposterously themed street gangs, electrifying synths, raging
fsticuffs and a lean, mean, macho story. Cyrus is the toughest,
baddest all-round coolest gang leader and hes assembled all
of the gangs in NYC to unify them. But when Cyrus ends up
dead, The Warriors take the wrap and every face painted, spiked
bat carrying, homicidal maniac in the city is out to kill the iron-
willed rumblers as they punch, bite and bleed their way home to
home through the labyrinth of Manhattan. 8/28
DRAGON BALL Z: BATTLE OF GODS (2014)
Following the events from the Dragon Ball Z television series,
after the defeat of Majin Buu, a new power awakens and threat-
ens humanity. Beerus, an ancient and powerful God of De-
struction, searches for Goku after hearing rumors of the Saiyan
warrior who defeated Frieza. Realizing the threat Beerus poses
to their home planet, the Z-fghters must fnd a way to stop
him before its too late. Only Goku, humanitys last hope, can
ascend to the level of a legendary Super Saiyan God and stop
Beerus from destroying Earth, and possibly the entire universe!
Fans of the series will be delighted to know that BATTLE OF
GODS is an original work from Dragon Ball creator, himself,
Akira Toriyama. 8/5 & 8/12
MONTY PYTHON LIVE (MOSTLY)
For the frst time in more than three decades, comedy legends
Monty Python will perform live on stage together this year.
Broadcast from Londons O2 Arena, Monty Python Live
(mostly) will play in cinemas around the globe. At a combined
age of just 358, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry
Jones and Michael Palin will once again perform some of their
greatest hits, with modern, topical, Pythonesque twists. Monty
Python are rightfully regarded as among the worlds fnest-ever
comedians. They infuenced a generation and revolutionised
comedy. Their eagerly awaited reunion promises to be among
the biggest live events of 2014. 8/6, 8/13 & 8/25
PEE WEES BIG ADVENTURE QUOTE-ALONG (1985)

Prepare to die. Is there a more quotable line from ANY movie
than that one? Well, that quote or maybe the whole Mawwage
thing...or I guess the As you wish is pretty iconic, too. Oh
gosh darn it! Every line in THE PRINCESS BRIDE has trans-
formed from mere lines in a script to gospel that melts even the
coldest of hearts. 8/4
THE LATE SHOW:
FIRST BLOOD (1982)
Ted Kotcheff s genre-defning FIRST BLOOD, one of the few
movies that truly wears its beating heart on its blood-stained
sleeve. This free-wheelin, gun-totin, law-fghtin post-ROCKY
masterpiece. Sylvester Stallone plays Vietnam veteran and occu-
pational vagabond John Rambo, just returned from war. With-
out a house or home to call his own, he wanders the streets
until arriving at a seemingly unassuming, small logging town.
Although the sign at the town entrance reads: Welcome to
Hope, there is none to be found in the city limits, only misery
and mistreatment from the local law enforcement. When they
push Rambo out of town without realizing the consequence of
their actions, he comes back with a signature, no-holds-barred
brand of retribution. A brutal critique of Americas participa-
tion in Vietnam and an all-around action classic. Also, this event
is BYOB: bring your own bandana! 8/16

MOOD INDIGO (2014)
Set in a charmingly surreal Paris, Duris plays wealthy bachelor
Colin, whose hobbies include developing his pianocktail (a
cocktail-making piano) and devouring otherworldly dishes pre-
pared by his trusty chef Nicolas. He soon meets Chlo (Tautou)
and, before they know it, theyre dancing to Duke Ellington and
plunging headfrst into a romance that Gondry rapturously de-
picts as only he can. Their whirlwind courtship is tested when
an unusual illness plagues Chloe; a fower begins to grow in her
lungs. To save her, Colin discovers the only cure is to surround
Chloe with a never-ending supply of fresh fowers. 8/10
THE DOG + DOG DAY AFTERNOON Double Feature
In August, 1972, he attempted to rob a Brooklyn bank to f-
nance his lovers sex-reassignment surgery. The attempted heist
resulted in a fourteen-hour hostage situation that was broadcast
on TV. Three years later, Pacino portrayed his character insti-
gating the unforgettable crime on the big screen. The award-
winning flm had a profound infuence on Wojtowicz, when he
emerged from prison six years later, he became known as The
Dog.. Join us for a double feature of THE DOG, an intimate
portrait of the vivacious John Wojtowicz, followed by the flm

survival, the soon-to-be tougher than nails, Sarah Connor. 8/2
BLADE (1998)
The frst of the modern Marvel era found a star in the brood-
ing half-vampire, half-mortal man. Weilding cool tech and
Wesley Snipes signature martial arts skills the flm soon found a
devout following and tapped into the popular culture of comics
and vampires before they even knew they were cool. 8/9
DEMOLITION MAN (1993)
Simon Phoenix is an old fashioned criminal. We need an old
fashioned cop....we need JOHN SPARTAN! Incarcerated in
ice in the year 1996 for a crime he didnt commit, testosterone
packed John Spartan has been thawed out and reborn into a
crime-free society being terrorized by his oldest nemesis: Simon
Phoenix, the multi-murder-death-killer. 8/23
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (1987)
There is only one fact that holds true across all galaxies: Dolph
Lundgren is the ultimate Male. Alongside zany dwarves, leather-
clad heroines, dumbass teenagers and a bone-crushing tidal
wave of slightly malformed cartoon nostalgia, He-Man faces

Rob Reiners flm about the sadness that comes with the end
of childhood innocence still maintains an emotional resonance
decades later. Starring the very talented young quartet of River
Phoenix, Wil Wheaton, Jerry OConnell and Corey Feldman,
STAND BY ME encompasses all the joy and pain of adoles-
cence with an honest and deft touch, something that is rarely
seen in the genre these days. To celebrate this modern classic

RANGO (2011)
Johnny Depp teams up with his PIRATES OF THE CA-
RIBBEAN director Gore Verbinski to star as Rango, a pet
chameleon who is taken from his safe terrarium and left in the
Old West. Once there, the young lizard takes it upon himself to
become the sheriff. But he soon discovers that the town dont
take too kindly to strange reptiles, especially ones who fancy
themselves good guys. Also starring Isla Fisher, Abigail Bres-
lin, Alfred Molina and Harry Dean Stanton. 8/4 - 8/8
AN AMERICAN TAIL (1986)
When AN AMERICAN TAIL was released in 1986, the world
of American animation was forever changed. For the frst time
in history, grown ups were taking cartoons seriously! With
Steven Spielberg as the executive producer and presenter, Fievel
and the Mousekewitz family succeeded where many cartoon

BABE (1995)
A young pig fghts convention to become a sheep dog -- or,
rather, sheep pig -- in this charming Australian family flm,
which became an unexpected international success due to
superior special effects and an intelligent script. The title refers
to the name bestowed on a piglet soon after his separation from
his family, when he fnds himself on a strange farm.

CORPSE BRIDE (2005)
When an arranged marriage between Victor Van Dort and
Victoria Everglot reaches the rehearsals, Victor starts to worry.
Spending time alone in the forest, Victor decides to practice
on his own. Everything seems to go well, until he accidentally
puts the ring upon the hand of a corpse. Before he knows it,
Victor is in the land of dead and now has a corpse bride. Whilst
everyones worries about who Victoria will marry in the land of
the living, Victor desperately fnds a way to get back. 8/25-8/29
