NUMBER PROBLEMS

1. The sum of three numbers is 100. Find the numbers if the


second number is 10 more than twice the first and the third
is ten less than the sum of the first two. Find the
numbers.

3. Three less than five times a certain number is equals to 67
more than one-third of the number. Find the number.

DIGIT PROBLEMS
1. The units digit of a two-digit number exceeds thrice the
tens digit by 1. The sum of the digits is 9. Find the
number.
2. The sum of the digits of a two-digit number is 15. One
third of the number diminished by 12 is 17. Find the
number.
3. The tens digit of a two-digit number is 3 less than the
units digit. The number is four times the sum of the
digits. Find the number.
4. The units digit of s two digit number is 5 more than the
tens digit. If the sum of the digits is one-third of the
number, find the number.
5. The tens digit of a two digit number is 5 more than the
units digit. The number is 8 times the sum of the digits.

AGE PROBLEMS
1. Rex is 30 years younger than his father. His mother is
three times as old as her son. Find Rexs age if his father
is two years older than his mother.
2. Jason is now three times as old as Helston. Three years
from now, Jason will be six times as old as Helston one
year ago. Find their present ages.
3. Ten years from now, Michael will be twice his age ten years
ago. How old is Michael now?
4. Raymond is 6 years older than Lowell, his brother. Four
years from now Raymond will be twice as old as Lowell. How
old are they now?
5. Two years ago, Greg was 3 times as old as his brother. In
four years, he will be only twice his brothers age. How
old are they now?






WORK PROBLEMS
1. It takes Mario 1 hour to milk all of the carabaos, and it
takes Cora 1.5 hours. How long will it take them to do the
job together?
2. Tony can load the truck in 40 minutes. If his son Paolo
helps him, it takes them 15 minutes, how long will it take
Paolo to finish alone?

Mariing itinanggi kahapon ni Senadora Cynthia Villar ang alegasyong hindi nagamit nang tama ang
Priorities Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) na ibinigay niya sa Las Pias City kasabay ng
paglilinaw na nagresulta pa nga ito sa milyong savings at isang award-winning project na kinilala sa
buong mundo.

Inihayag ni Villar, na naging kongresista ng Las Pias noong 2001 hanggang 2010, na bago siya
nahalal na senador, ang kanyang PDAF ay ipinagkaloob niya sa kanilang distrito sa nasabing lungsod
upang maiangat ang pamumuhay ng kanyang mga kababayan, partikular ang nangaghihirap.

With this as guidepost, I have made sure that the identification of PDAF projects was done strictly in
accordance with the menu and guidelines dictated by the Develpoment of Budget and Management
(DBM), ani Villar.

Binigyang-diin din ni Villar na dahil sa waste processing system na tinustusan ng pondo mula sa
kanyang PDAF, nakatipid ang Las Pias ng P300 milyon sa garbage disposal. Bukod dito, nabigyan
din ng pagkakataong makatrbaho ang mahihirap niyang kababayan.

Ani Villar, nais din niyang ilahad ang mga proyektong pinondohan ng kanyang congressional PDAF
ay nakatuon sa rehabilitasyon ng mga ilog at iba pang daluyan ng tubig upang maiwasan ang

Ipinagmalaki pa ni Villar na noong 2011, nakamit ng Las Pias-Zapote River Rehabilitation Program
ang Best Water Management Practice Award mula sa United Nationals (UN) Water for Life event
sa Zaragoza, Spain. May 38 bansa ang naglaban-laban upang makamit ang parangal na ito.

Binanggit din ng senadora na noon pang Agosto 28, 2012, sinagot na ng Las Pias City ang mga
isyu na tinukoy sa Commission on Auditing (COA) report kaugnay sa paggamit ng kanilang PDAF at
alegasyon ng umanoy iregularidad kaugnay nito
