Introduction:

Leisure travel a kind of travel we define for taking a break from usual work or after
exams. Leisure, or free time, is time spent away for relaxing and free the mind from stress. Time
frame for Leisure travel may depend upon many factors like vacation period, climatic condition,
financial position, persons travelling with and locations. Usually Leisure travels are associated with
hill stations, beaches, parks and temples. Its the time travellers like to try to explore new things like
culture, bio diversity, new places, adventurous activities and spend some time with their loved
ones. Leisure travel also helps in developing relationships with peers, to establish personal
preferences.


Factors to be considered:
People around us like family, friends, colleagues etc.
Environment around us like the kind of place person is living in, climate, etc.
Financial feasibility
Duration of travel

Research Objective:

To analyse the factors that affects the travelling decisions of youth (men) belonging to age
group 15-25.
To make a study on how perception of leisure differs among individuals.
To differentiate motives and constraints behind travel for leisure in youth from others like
women, middle aged, senior citizens etc.


To study the travel patterns of the youth like locations, mode of transport, duration of stay
etc.
To analyse segmentation area of Leisure Tourism for Youth (Men) and ways to attract
them.
To explore new opportunities in the field of Leisure Travel.
