    Reference: ESSA National Swimming Championships for Secondary School Relays 2014
    On Friday 26
    th
    September 2014, the ESSA North West will be holding the divisional qualifying rounds of the above competition at
    Everton Park Sports Centre, Great Homer St, Liverpool, L5 5PH. Warm up starts at 6.0pm.
    We hope that you will be entering a school team and have provided some information that may help in completing the entry
    forms. Unfortunately, due to a change in our web based management we are unable to accept online entries this year and have
    reverted back to postal applications. I hope that this does not cause too many problems.
    Furthermore in line with National guidelines the age groups for teams has changed to reflect current policy as follows:
    Juniors
    11 & under 13 (years 7 & 8) born 01.09.2001 31.08.2003
    Intermediates
    13 & under 15 (years 9 &10) born 01.09.1999 31.08.2001
    Seniors
    15 & under 18 (Years 11, 12 & 13) Born 01.09.1996 31.08.1999

    Ages are evaluated as at midnight 31

    September at the start of the academic year of competition 2014.

    Schools may enter more than one team, but only the A team times will go forward. Entry to the Championships is 10 per
    boy/girl age group, per team and must be accompanied by a completed entry form.
    You can enter by one of two ways and in any case before Friday 12
    th
    September 2014.
    1. Postal entry form with cheque made payable to ESSA NW and posted to Terry Turner.
    2. Email with completed entry form to Terry Turner and BACS payment to 40-29-03 Account No 60333255. Reference: The
    name of your school.
    Team sheets can be emailed prior to the event or submitted on the night. Ages and dates will be checked to confirm the team
    complies with the new age groups. Last thing we want are teams being disqualified for wrong age groupings.
