The term paper assessed staff training
and development on job performance in
FRCN. It identified the training and
development mechanism, examined the
adequac of staff training and manpo!er
development in the public service and
assessed the effect of training and
development on staff. This !as
necessitated b the need to ensure
qualit training and development on job
performance in Nigeria public service.

sources etc. The paper concluded that
scale of salaries of emploees should be
revie!ed as it !ill improve their job
performance, suitable and effective
