Overview:
The clan system is one of the most important and overlooked aspects of Sokan. It is generally the first
experience that any of the members have within Sokan, and it can make or break a members opinion
about whether to stay or not. This being said it is crucial for Sokan as a whole to make this aspect one
of the most exciting and beneficial times in a members ten-year in Sokan.
It is my personal opinon that during this time, after an Initiate goes through the Ceremony and before
he/she becomes a Padawan that they have the opportunity to taste as much of what we can offer as
possible. To me this means each one of our clan members gets to participate in a World Boss kill, War
Zoning, World Pvp, and RP. Much of this is easily found within the Padawan Trials themselves, but it is
our job as Masters within this guild, to bring it to life and make it an epic experience for everyone
involved. In the following sections you will find a break down of the Clan System and the skeleton for
how it should function.
The system itself is rather simple. There are a few core outlined requirements of each of the four
schools, but beyond that each of the schools runs and manages itself individually. Each member of the
School reports to the Master of the Clan, and the Master of the Clan, in turn, reports to the Knights of
Sokan Council. Ideally, the Master of the Clan, would be a member of Sokan, or the Master rank, who
is passionate and loyal to the guild, and is NOT a Council Member.
Each one of the Clans of Sokan has a personality and individuality all to itself. Each is an elite, unique
and exclusive group that is built by and run by Masters of each of the four Jedi classes. Respectively,
they each have different initiation ceremonies, meetings, lore, missions, and philosophies.

Masters and Clan-members:

To be rank Master in the elite fighting order that is The Knights of Sokan is a great honor and
responsibility. It means that you know what your are talking about and how to help better the guild. Just
as it is the responsibility of each Knight to take a Padawan, it is in turn, the responsibility of each
Master to make sure that the Clan-members in his or her school, progress and learn what it means to be
a Jedi. Masters are the elite of the elite which means they should easily be able to train and help new
members. Each Clan of Sokan, will be bestowed a Master of the Clan and that Master will be
responsible for the requirements presented below. Furthermore, he or she will be able to allocate and
delegate responsibilities as he or she sees fit to each of the other members of the Clan, first and
foremost to the other Masters.

Showing Ranks
In order to show ranks and designations the following system has been advised.
While in game, each guild member's Member Note will be situated in the following formula.
Member Note: [Clan Name]: [Specialization or Title] - [Master's Name]
*Abbreviations may be necessary
When a person joins Sokan, they will have a blank Member Note, until they are Initiated.
Upon completion of the Initiation Ceremony, the members Rank will be changed to Clan.
However, their Member Note, will remain blank until they are initiated into their respective
Clan.
Once they have been Initiated into their respective Clans, their Member Note will be changed,
using the Formula presented above. If they do not have a specialization or title, that section will
be omitted, and their Master's name will follow. They they also have no master it will simply
read their clan name.
