* Effect Due to Recession - Last year, eventhough it was first year of Campus Placements,
24 industries visited our campus for recruitment. We were expecting that this number will cross 150 this
year. But due to recession, we (like all colleges) received a set back. This year companies are reluctant to
visit for campus recruitment due to poor global scenario. Still our efforts are on. We expect the situation will
be okey up to Aug. 2009.
* Our Remedy to Attack Recession - We have not left out our efforts. We are still in contact
with various companies as well as FTPO members. We are trying to call companies which are new to this
campus type of recruitments. We are not saying NO to even an ordinary organization, as it is time to survive
by any way. Many students are now trying for Higher studies & competitive examinations. We have good
consulting hand in guidance to such students. Public sector advertisements like BSNL, MSEB, Railways
were displayed on notice boards. Students should not loose any opportunity if it is there.

14) Workshop - Disaster management workshop was organized by T & P with the students welfare activity
during 12/01/09 & 13/01/09. 19 Students participated in that.
15) Interviews of Great People: -
To prepare for interviews, one way is to conduct interviews of others. This helps us to improve our
communication skills, to enhance our skills related to etiquettes & mannerism. Also confidence level
increases if we conduct interviews of great & successful icons in society.
On 12/03/09 our students conducted interview of Hon. Nilu Phule.
On 14/03/09 our students conducted interview of Sindhutaai Sapkal..
On 28/03/09 Pune District Collector Chandrakant Dalavi was interviewed by our students..
On 07/04/09 students conducted interview of IPS Officer Vishwas Nangare Patil at his office in
Mumbai.
