Flier
Description:

This is my flier. It took about two hours total to make.

Something I was focusing on this project is the use of good
focal point and flow. I was also very aware of my whitespace
after reading a lot about it for preparation for this assignment. I
feel like I succeeded in what I set out to do.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I sketched with pencil
and made a couple of designs I really liked. Then I took it to
Indesign and created it at a moderate speed. Ive had some
training in Indesign already so the process was fairly simple.

Date:
1/25/15

Message:

The message of this flier is to get young adults to want to aspire

to be great leaders. I wanted them to ask themselves, I have
what it takes to be a leader dont I, I should go to this!

Program(s)/Tools:
Adobe Illustator

Audience:

I feel like the audience is going to be young adult varying from

highschool to college students.

Process:

I sketched with pencil and made a couple of designs I really

liked. Then I took it to Indesign and created it at a moderate
speed. Ive had some training in Indesign already so the process
was fairly simple.

Event Ad
Description:

This is my event ad flier. I made the sponsor of the event

Puma because my shoes are Pumas and that is what I
scanned. Its a flier for a walkathon to raise money for kids who
dont own their own shoes.

Date:
1/31/15

Message:

I wanted to reach out to everyone who liked running, or just

wanted to help children who have no shoes, get some new
shoes. By running and doing something you like you can
potentially help a lot of kids.

Program(s)/Tools:
Adobe Illustator

Audience:

My audience is anyone who likes Puma, likes working out,

communities, young adults, or people who are healthy and fit.

Process:

The first thing I did was sketch. After I had a couple different
ideas of what I wanted to do I scanned two images. After
choosing what image I like better I started to make my event ad
in Microsoft word. The focus principles I tried to focus on was
focal point, and audience.

Charity

I picked 3 different, unique ones and designed them in Adobe
Illustrator.

in general. Or people who enjoy the TV show Bobs burgers.

Process:

I first took the original logo I drew and sketched out the same

I went into Adobe Illustrator and made the logo. Once I had the
logo I made the cards and the letterhead in Adobe Indesign.

Web Page
Description:

This is the webpage I built for my fictitious business Bobs

Burgers. I made it from scratch with just a html editor. I also
created the CSS sheet from scratch.

Date:
3/15/15

Message:

The message is to go eat a burger. I built the website from a

restraunts website kind of view. It has a menu and everything
about the burgers.

Program(s)/Tools:
HTML
Adobe Photoshop

Audience:

The audience is for people who have seen the tv show Bobs
burgers or just really enjoy burgers. Maybe for a more young
adult audience.

Process:

The first thing I did was I went into photoshop and made my
logo for the web. After I had that saved and ready I just sat
down and coded the html for the website. After my code was
cleaned up and I had all the content I wanted in it, I created a
style sheet for it. After spending a couple of hours messing with
things and getting it to look the way I wanted, I got it finished!

Brochure
Description:

My flier that I created for the fictitious organization the White

Glove association. Its a flier for their all weekend event in
which you can go get a prostate exam from several famous
doctors.

Date:
3/29/15

Message:

I wanted to express my humor and creativity with this project.

Anyone can make a brochure based on something theyre
familiar with. I wanted to pick something random and not
ordnairy and build off of that.

Program(s)/Tools:
Adobe Illustator
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Indesign

Audience:

Audience is male adults over the age of 40. Basically anyone

who is needing a prostate check. My organization is trying to
raise awareness of the importance of prostate exams.

Process:

I sketched out some ideas on some paper. Once I had an idea

I really liked I just stuck with it. Then I went onto google and
found 4 images I thought would be the best for my brochure.
Then I went into InDesign and created the whole thing up.
Everything in the flier was made in InDesign. After much peer
review and the assignments information, its looking pretty
good in my opinion.
