I consider myself to be a confident, determined and motivated person who

always gives his best to any task undertaken. I adapt easily to working as
part of a team and understand the benefits to be gained by working together
to complete jobs quickly and efficiently, but can also work alone without
supervision and use initiative to handle problems or difficult situations.
Friendly and approachable, I have good communication skills, a positive
attitude to work and life in general and am a naturally happy and outgoing
with a great sense of humour.

Voulnteerd at foundations furniture project
Gateshead - I started to voulnteer at the foundations furniture project
recently up to 4 days a week, From the hours of 9 to 4.30, Mostly I am doing
stock control moving furniture occationally showing customers around the
show room and seeing to there needs, Restocking donated furniture and the
project resells the furniture at a cut price for people on benefits.
Also I have recently completed 120 hours over 4 weeks at the charity.
Sept 06 Jan 07 Tog Outdoor Wear, North Shields Retail Assistant (6 month
contract)
I worked as part of a team with responsibility for providing good service,
helping customers to locate products and checking on STOCKavailability. I
unpacked deliveries and replenished the stock making sure the displays
looked well maintained and presented. With additional responsibility for
operating tills, taking cash, cheque and credit card payments, I also had to
take orders off the phone and put them onto the database. Other tasks
involved keeping the workplace tidy following the stores guidelines for health
and safety. During this time I was able to build and develop a broad range of
interpersonal skills, in communication, listening, organisational and time
management. I also gained a better understanding of the benefits to be
achieved by working as a team.

I can touch type up to 90 words per minute with 100% Accuracy.

Good team member who fits in well and is able to interact with people of all
ages. Also capable of working alone, unsupervised, using initiative to
complete tasks.
Being hard working, I am frequently moving heavy furniture in the place
which I voulnteer,
Experience of working in a retail environment and providing good standards
of customer service, I always remain polite and courteous and strive to
exceed customer expectations.
