Was involved in a mandatory ‘work-experience’ program organised by my high school – it


involved immersing oneself in a work environment for 2 weeks, and – albeit typically
involving house-work, contributing to the firm. During this period, I worked in an Industrial
Design firm based in Richmond, called ‘Cocoon Republic’.

Customer Service (with ‘Create Your Own Taste’ speciality), November 2015 - March 2016

Worked at the (at the time) busiest McDonald’s store in Victoria over the summer period of
2015-2016. Serving hundreds of customers daily, I worked at the front counter, but was
assigned to manage the ‘Create Your Own Taste’ orders. My role included taking orders,
assembling orders and serving drinks.

Concurrent with university studies, worked primarily overnight shifts at McDonald’s


Holmesglen. Involved primarily in food production, but also assisting in serving customers.
Whilst many aspects of my previous stint at McDonald’s resurfaced – given that majority of
my shifts were during the night, responsibilities were different.

Concurrent with exchange education, was appointed as a social media administrator for a
non-government organisation. The CPD Policy Blog is a project of the Austrian Conflict,
Peace and Democracy Cluster and is supported by the University of Graz, IKF,
