1) PO no. 12000041-OQ-10002 dtd 17.5.12 is placed for supply of 45

nos HVLR monitors. All 45 monitors have been received and
installation of all 45 nos monitors is completed.
2) PO no. 13000013-OQ-10002 dtd 15.4.13 is placed for supply of
223 nos monitors. All 223 monitors have been received . Installation
will be completed by Dec'14 in phases.

Phase 1:
1) PO dtd 23.7.13 placed for Lot-1 qty of 18 nos tanks (dia >32 M)
on M/s HSE Engineers Pvt Ltd.
2) PO dtd 25.7.13 placed for Lot-2 qty of 12 nos (dia >32 M) on
M/s Vimal Fire Control Pvt Ltd.
Phase-II:
In 2nd Phase, tender for 55 tanks tanks above 3000 KL capacity
floated on 31.7.13. The negotiation is under progress.
Delivery of point type detectors is completed. Delivery of open path
detectors is in progress. 70% qty of HCD is delivered and received at
the locations. The delivery of balance 25% is to be completed by
April'14. HC detectors will be part of independent Safety loop and
Safety PLC. Installation will done in phased manner alongwith all
instrumentation jobs by Dec'14.

As per Ministry direction, one Industry committee has been formed

on 17.5.13 to finalize the location and scope of work for setting up
the Emergency Response Centres on the lines of existing facilities in
the Refineries. Committee submitted Draft report to OISD. It was
decided to finalise specs after studying such facilities abroad and
then pilot at two locations on BOO basis.
Purchase Orders dtd. 7.2.2013 placed on M/s Institute of Fire Safety
& Disaster Management Studies, Vadodara & M/s Eminent Career
Development Link, Thrissur. Tender covers 1200 personnel training
in 2 years period. So far, 1439 participants have been covered.
Recommendation complied.
