A Proceedings report on youth and oil in Uganda


A report of proceedings from the oil conference that was organized at Makerere
University on 16th and 17th April and the main outcome of the conference was a
contribution of issues that were later compiled into a memorandum containing views
of what the youth want to see in the Local Content policy for Uganda. The
memorandum was presented by the youth leaders to the Ministry of Energy and
