GeoGraphix is the first interpretation suit that works

well with Esri cloud services.

For users finding data can be an uphill task some times. The data can exist in
many places in spreadsheets, text files, databases, emails, business
applications and Web pages. One mighthave access to follow drives, scrolls
through different directories, have to connect to the servers and databases.
Without a good way to access data from these sources collecting information is
challenging and time consuming.
After coming across with such difficulties and also ever-expanding science and
technology compelled man to think about the solution for such troubles. And
he is successful in devising products responsible for organizing data in a
smarter way.
These products are of various type-desktop, web based or they may be cloud
applications.
People today are more prone to use cloud because they are not costly, which
saves them money and they are effectively infinite in size, so they dont need
to worry about its running out of capacity. When companies start relying on
cloud-based services, they no longer need complex disaster recovery plans.
ArcGIS Online is a rapidly advancing cloud-based system for creating and
sharing maps and geographic information. It facilitates anyone to create, view,
and use maps. Users can also upload and style geographic data, create web
maps, interact with maps on any device, and embed maps into websites and
web-based applications. The system holds and controls Esri's cloud
infrastructure and allows users to store and manage their maps and
geographic information, as well as make them readily available to a wider
audience through open, scalable web technology.
Because ArcGIS Online is in the cloud, once a user has created a map and
shared it, the map is automatically part of an online catalog. Users can choose
to keep it private. They can also share it with other groups, or share it with
everyone. Others can add additional layers to these maps and share them
again as new maps. These maps can be used in a variety of waysthrough a
browser, on a mobile device, in a desktop GIS system, or in a custom
application.
For those organizations that would like to use ArcGIS Online behind the firewall
or in their own private network, there is a version, called Portal for ArcGIS that
you can install and use on your own computer networks. Portal is used in
collaboration with ArcGIS for Server within an enterprise. This implementation
pattern provides for maximum security and customization.
You can access ArcGIS Online through web browsers, mobile devices, and desktop
Applications.
GeoGraphix make it very easy to consume or publish different types of maps
fromArcGIS online. Anyone can access this platform to make maps; combine
these maps with other layers to form new maps; and share these maps via email or embed them in applications, websites, or blogs so the others can also
use it. It reduce extra effortof producing same map a number of time by
different teams. It reduce the chances of error and increase the
standardizationof map publishing. It allows organization to use standard maps
throughout the team.

ArcGIS Online
ArcGIS Online is a collaborative, cloud-based platform that allows members of
an organization to use, create, and share maps, scenes, apps, and data, and
access authoritative basemaps and ready-to-use apps. Through ArcGIS Online,
you get access to Esris secure cloud, where you can manage, create, store
data as published web layers, and because ArcGIS Online is an integral part of
the ArcGIS system, you can use it to extend the capabilities of ArcGIS for
Desktop, ArcGIS for Server,
ArcGIS Web APIs, and ArcGIS Runtime SDKs.
With ArcGIS Online, you can use and create maps and scenes, access ready-to-use
layers and tools, publish data as web layers, collaborate and share, access maps from
any device, make maps with your Microsoft Excel data, customize the ArcGIS Online
website, and view status reports. You can also use ArcGIS Online as a platform to build
custom location-based apps

1. You can sign in with Ur organizational account.

2. Presented with the dialogthat provides the base maps that Esri provides and you
can add those maps in your projector you can search for additional content for
example wells, but it does not have to be a map service it can be a feature and

image service as well. So you can quickly add these layers (maps) .so that is to
add in the information form GIS Online .so being able to just search and discover
information fromArcGIS online and quickly use it makes your jobs little bit easier
and more efficient.
3. Now one thing wo did not stop there, with LMKR GeoGraphix its not only to
consuming data in other application but you need to share this information and
how you can share with other in ur organization for example if you have a color
full contour map you just right click and publish it to the ArcGIS online.. when you
share maps on ArcGIS online this data becomes available to variety of
applications
