the kota raja festival, showcasing an array of cultural and arts activities,
was held to celebrate the 230th anniversary of the city of tenggarong, east
Kalimantan.
the festival was opened on 24 th September and continued through to 11 th
November 2012. There were traditional arts on show, including all-night leather
puppet performances and contemporary arts, short film screenings, a fashion show,
rock music concerts and a photo contest.
workshops on the local traditional jepen dance and traditional fashion
competition were also on the agenda. There was also a concert of popular Brazilian
band sepulture at aji imbut tenggarong stadium on firday, 9 th November, besides,
local artists enlivened the festival with theirmusical talents and skills in performance

celebrate the anniversary of tenggarong city would encourage locals to develop the
cityintoamorecreative and entrepreneur-based area that appreciates local cultural
wisdom.

existing potential and improving the welfare of local people through adhering to

Helen adams keller was an American author, political activist and lecturer.
She was born on 27th june 1880in Tuscumbia, Alabama. In 1882, she fell ill and
became blind, deaf and mute. Helen keller was the firs of two daughters born to
Arthur H. keller and Katherine adams keller. She also had two older stepbrothers.
Keller father and served asan officer in the confederate army during the civil war.
The family was not particularly wealthy and earned an income from their cotton
plantation.
Helen keller was helped by anne Sullivan, her teacher, to make
