The Store should open and close at the lit iurs prescribed by the Operations Head.

In case of any deviation to regular timing, it can take place only from the
Operations Head. by authorisation
In exceptional eases w hen the Stores' regular time is deviated, it Mould he duly
communicated to the customers.
Along with the Designated Opening Managers members from housekeeping,
maintenance and security should be present at least l hours 30 minutes prior to the
store opening to Customers.
5. STORE OPENING
The Manager scheduled by the Store Manager is the only person authorised to
open the Store.
The opening shutter/gate at the stall-entry/exit point should have either double
locks or a single lock with dual keys. The staff entry/exit door should be opened /
closed by the Opening/Closing Manager with the involvement of the Security
Supervisor. (Refer to SOP for Key Management)
The Maintenance-In-charge on duty should then proceed to the power supply
room to switch on the necessary lights to assist opening.
All other internal doors and shutters should be opened in a pre-defined sequence
to be decided by the Store Manager. Preferably from bottom floor (Staff Entrance)
to the top floor of the mall. Adherence to the Key Movement Register is mandatory_
The Opening Manager should ensure that the seals on all doors have the Closing
Manager's signature along with the date. In case any of the seals are tampered
with, the Opening Manager should alert the admin / ops manager, Store Man and
the same should be registered in the log book. Further investigation shall
immediately taken by the Store Manager.
In any situation, cash room shall not he opened by the Opening Manager. The Held
Cashier only has the right to open the cash room.

11)1414' CLOSING

The Manager scheduled by the Store Manager is the only person authorised to
close the Store,
I N:goaing of the Store shall start from the top floor of the mall (Terrace) to the
bottom floor of the mall (Staff Exit) or as planned by the Store Manager. All
internal doors should be locked from inside except the main staff exit door, \\ hich
should be locked from outside. In extreme eases, where locking from inside I not
possible for shutters at the customer exit/entry locking can take place from
Outside.
During store closing, the closing team should lock and put brown paper seals on
all the locks on all doors /windows. All seals should bear the signature of the
Closing Manager with the date. The brown paper seal should be intact while store
opening bearing the signature of the Closing Manager. If the designated Opening
Manager notices that any of the seals has been tampered with, immediate
investigation should take place tiller informing the Store Nlant;.,:, T. The Loss
Prevention team should ensure that the detached security from the cash counters
before closing and kept in their designated 1-11.1,! During closing, it should be
ensured that all lights, A/C's, fans ter ible appliances such as microwave ovens are
put off and all the water taps are closed.
