Report of College Praveshotsav-2014

Venue : Kera Village and College Campus of the Institute

As per Instructions and inspiration of Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of

Gujarat, College Praveshotsav for newly admitted students of Degree and Diploma
Engineering was organized at HJD Institute, Kera-Kutch on 25th July-2014. The details of the
program are as follows:
Planning of Praveshotsav 19th July-2015:
A meeting of Praveshotsav committee was convened on 19th July-2014 at 11.0 A.M. in the
Principals office of the Institute. Shri. B. H. Pampaniya, Taluka Development Officer of
Bhuj presided over the meeting. Members of the committee Shri. Pritesh Mankad, Vice
Principal of HJD Institute, Head of the Departments Dr. Kalpana Maheshwari, Shri. Navneet
Patel, Smt. Laxmi Saraswat, Dr. Sudhanshu Bhatt, Smt. Rasila Hirani, Shri. Shailesh
Rojivadia, Kum. MitiVaidya remained present in the meeting and details were worked out.
Rally of Students :25th July-2014: 8.0 A. M.
A rally of students and staff members was organized from Kera village to HJD InstituteCampus. This was done to celebrate first day of college studies and to create awareness
among society. This road show was participated by large number of students and appreciated
by residents of kera village.

After rally all the staff members and students performed pooja at Saraswatidevi temple which
is located inside the campus.

Welcome Function of Newly Admitted Students: 25th July- 9.30 A.M.

A welcome function of newly admitted students was organized in presence of Chairman of
the Trust Hon. Jagdishbhai Halai, Shri. B.H. Pampania,TDO-Bhuj, Smt. JashodabenSarpanch of Kera village, Smt. Tulsaben-members of Jilla panchayat-Bhuj , Heads of various
departments and large pool of new and existing students.

Inauguration of the function was done by TDO Shri. Pampaniya sir and newly admitted
students.

Inspiring speech was delivered by TDO Shri Pampaniya Sir. He informed about objective of
Gujarat Government behind such celebrations and motivated the students.
