Narration Text
Let us start with greetings.
We greet people in different ways depending on whether we use formal language or informal
language.
To greet someone in a formal way upon arriving somewhere, we tend to say: "good morning", "good
afternoon" or "good evening".
When we are using an informal way of greeting, we tend to say "hi"; "hello"; "how are you doing";
"what's up"; "hows everything".

OST

How you greet someone really depends on who, where and when you meet. If you meet someone for the first time, or
meet someone older or more important, you need to be more polite and more formal. When you get to know someone
better, you can be more informal.

Okay Ashu. It is good to have you on-board.
Thank you. I am glad to be here.

If you noticed, when they introduce themselves, they use their full names and sound quite serious.
You will notice that they become less formal after they have introduced themselves. The
sentence Its good to have you on-board means he is pleased that the new employee has joined
the company.
