PLANNING

Project planning and Scheduling using Planning softwares like Primavera P6 & MS Project.

Detailed development of schedules (cost and resource loaded) as per agreed WBS structure.

Monitoring and reporting of progress involving detailed engineering, procurement,

construction and mechanical completion upto commissioning stages.

Accountable for estimation of resources required for project like materials, manpower and
equipments.

Prepare work Packages for plant shutdowns which include activity breakup, job safety analysis,
P&IDs, WPS and repair procedures, equipment maintenance history, Inspection reports and
Drawings.

Prepare Job Cards for shutdown jobs which include detail activity breakup, manpower
requirement for each activity and logistics requirements.

MONITORING & CONTROLLING

Updating schedules with respect to baseline schedule, analyzing critical path and prepare
corrective action plan.

Generating look ahead schedules, manpower histograms, S curves and bar charts.

Conducting weekly meetings with execution teams and providing work front availability based
on material availability for different areas.

Basic preparation of EOT analysis.

Coordinate with engineering, inspection and operations personnel for the turnaround work
scope identification and issues resolution.

Periodic evaluation of progress comparing plan vs actual, manpower comparing planned vs

actual.

Monitoring of resources (manpower and equipments) as per the work scenario

Schedule risk analysis study and critical path analysis from progress measurement.

COSTING & INVOICING

Preparation of monthly cost reports, cash flow analysis, anticipated completion costs,
generating monthly progress invoices.

Preparation of anticipated variations (cost and time) due to change in scope, design etc to
match the project requirements.

Preparation & submission of weekly / monthly progress &invoice sheets co-relating with
construction drawings and site actual as per the B.O.Q.

CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT

Maintaining change order register, preparing Contractual letters / claims and resolving
contractual issues. Attending weekly Commercial and Progress meetings with client.

Preparation of chronology of events for concurrent delays.

Assisting in preparation of EOT claims through Time Impact Analysis (TIA).

Liable for preparation of comparison statement considering both technical and Commercial
aspects

Review quotations submitted by suppliers / sub-contractors and prepare comparative price

statement, negotiate, finalize subcontract terms & conditions.

QUANTITY SURVEYING

Preparing bill of quantities and tender prices from studying projects drawings like plan,

isometric, key plan, plan & profile, interface plan, spool erection drawings, P&ID, flow diagram
drawings & designs.

Responsible for ensuring required quantities to be installed and field verifying and confirming
the quantities installed against the quantities required.

To formulate change orders to existing subcontracts for change in scope and pricing.

To assist in the review and settlement of any claims as may be raised by subcontractors.

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

Periodic progress and status reports for materials in order to ensure their availability when and
where required.

Co-ordinate with Material department about purchase orders and material delivery. Providing
work front availability to execution team based on material availability for different areas.

EXECUTION

Provides professional direction and guidance to project team in matters related to engineering
Standards, project specification, and quality.

Monitoring piping construction and fabrication activities, insuring quality and taking necessary
actions to maintain satisfactory standards.

Preparation of field piping system test packages ,including system limit on P&ID and piping
Isometrics

Responsible for carrying out Mechanical Clearance, Conducting Hydro and Pneumatic tests,
fulfilling commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.
