Heavy Truck Technician
 Performed diagnostics and general repairs of diesel engines in Freightliner, Sterling, Western star,
and other brand-name heavy duty trucks. I addressed problems with the Starter, Alternator, Air
compressor, Turbo charger, / CAC, Water pump and cooling system, Fan hubs, Exhaust system
Air conditioning, Brakes, ect.
 I used service-pro , Detroit`s DDDL, Wabco , and other computer diagnostic programs to identify
and solve electrical / mechanical problems effecting drivability and function of truck. I was
required to remove / replace drive shafts , axles, transmissions, differentials , power-dividers
power steering pumps, steering boxes , ect. Wheel alignments. Fifth wheel service.
 Performed a wide variety of electrical trouble -shooting on control modules, sensors, gauges,
electrical charge system, lighting, PTO controls ect. I performed: safety recall modifications,
Exhaust REGENeration, Over head valve adjustments (Mercedes Benz 900 engines), Tire
repairs, ect.I did comar and DOT inspections. Duties also included preventive maintenance.

Heavy truck technician
 I performed electrical trouble-shooting on a wide variety of trucks, buses, and motor homes . I did
repairs on bus door controls, wheelchair lifts, cargo-lift gates, safety interlock systems, interior /
exterior lights , parking aids, start/ charging systems, oil and fuel gauges heaters, air conditioning,
cruise controls, audio systems GPS two -way radio,power-converters ect.
 I performed complete PMs as well as general mechanical repairs and diagnostics. Such repairs
included servicing brake systems , steering, suspension, alternators and starters, fuel systems , air
and a/c systems ect. I installed PTO units,hydraulic pumps,water pumps, high pressure hoses,
hydraulic rams, ects. Experience includes work with vocational truck such as trash trucks, crane
trucks , low boys, car- carriers, cement mixers, water trucks, fire trucks, ect. .I performed body
repair work on trucks RVs ,and buses. I removed and replaced wrecked body parts like hoods ,
fender extensions, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, lights, ect. .I used body filler and performed prep
work to get truck ready for painting. I performed complete cab and truck body exchanges where I
removed a wrecked cab and replaced it with a new cab section and transferred glass, electrical
harnesses, seats ect.; also , I have removed truck bodys off the chassis of an older truck and
remounted it onto a newer truck. Such work often required the use of cutting torch, plasma
cutter, and welder.
 I worked on mid size trucks such as the ford F-350 and other service truck type vehicles.
