“ # 6 The ONLY Way To NOT Give in to Temptation”

Romans 5:1 (NASB) 1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ…

Galatians 5:17 (AMP) 17For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and
the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are
antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so
that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do.

Galatians 5:16 (AMP) 16But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit
[responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify
the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).

Romans 8:1-3 (KJV) 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin
and death.
3
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his
own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the
righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after
the Spirit.

Romans 8:7-10 (KJV) 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot
please God.
9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you,
the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up
Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in
you.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NASB) 23Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you
entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will
bring it to pass.

Romans 8:16-17 (NASB) 16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are
children of God, 17and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if
indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB) 17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the

old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

1 Corinthians 3:1 (NASB) 1And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men,
but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ.

Matthew 24:14 (NASB) 14"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole
world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
