PR can be used to build rapport with
employees, customers, investors, voters, or
the general public. Almost any organization
that has a stake in how it is portrayed in the
public arena employs some level of public
relations.
What is advertising?
Advertising is a non-personal form of
promotion that is delivered through selected
media outlets that, under most
circumstances, require the marketer to pay
for message placement. Advertising has long
been viewed as a method of mass promotion
in that a single message can reach a large
number of people.

event to its target audience
Advertising ca be anything that calls
attention to a product or a service
Examples can be- tv commercials ,
newspaper/magazine ad, poster,clothing...

should you advertise? The best answer on
both topics is, "It depends on what you're
trying to accomplish." Use public relations
and advertising (and marketing) together as
well as separately when the situation calls for
it.

Vodafone
The latest ads of Vodafone presenting the
zoozoo. The ZooZoo ads were created to
show various value added services of
Vodafone. Each ad represents a specific value
added service. According to Mr. Rajiv Rao,
Executive Creative Director, O & M, the major
reason for the ads becoming so popular is
their similarity with the human world. The
ZooZoos are innocent people who live in a
world similar to that of human and they have
emotions like human beings. The laugh at
loud, feel pain and sadness and they are
something in-between the world of animation
and reality. Vodafone did the best advertising
and pr activities by giving media the coverage
of the making of the ads and also when the
ceo of the company talk about their ads.
London dreams
London Dreams is a Bollywood musical film
directed by Vipul Shah. Starring Salman Khan
and Ajay Devgan in lead roles, the film also
features Asin Thottumkal as the lead female
character. Advertised as well as did promote
their film in many ways the actors ajay
devgan, salman khan and asin thottumkal
came in the finals of little champs and
promoted their movie by talking about their
characters in the movie and also showcased
the movie trailers. Asin and vipul shah
entertained mirchi listeners as asin spoke
about her experience working with the two
bollywood stars and of course the filmmaker.
Salman khan was in delhi to open the advance
booking of londan dreams at the multiplex in
daryagunj. They have advertised as well as
done effective promotional activities for there
film.
IIPM
IIPM invest in large scale advertising every
year and tries to catch the attention of their
target audience. The brand ambassador
shahrukh khan promoted iipm in the
advertising and also by hosting finals of
international business and marketing quiz.
And also by making some special presence at
the iipm and talking with the media about the
studies of iipm. iipm advertise as well as
promote their educational facilities provided
by them.
Conclusion
According to my study what i conclude
is that advertising is done to aware the
audience about their products and
services whereas pr is done to build
their brand and create a good image in
the eyes of people. They both go hand
in hand as they both are important to
make people aware.
Advertising and pr
Advertising is done for the company to make
an awareness about their products and
services advertising sometimes demonstrate
the product. Advertising tells about what all
the product and tries to recall there brand in
the mind of consumer whereas pr is about
giving organization or individual exposure to
their audiences. Pr is done to build an good
image, understanding. As advertising says- we
are good. And pr says –we heard that you are
good
