Photodetector using Silvaco TCAD

The project involved designing a PIN photodetector

with combination of different materials to produce the
best performance of photodetector. The performance
can be analyze using Silvaco TCAD.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT

Title : Preparation and photocatalytic activity of Silver-doped Titanium IV Butoxide in
UV and solar radiation.
The main purpose of this study is to synthesis TiO2 with smaller bandgap to increase its
efficiency in photocatalytic activity. The higher rate degradation is better to degrade the water
pollutant faster.

DEVICE FABRICATION PROJECT

Title : Fabrication of N-MOSFET
- Using silicon as substrate for the device.
- Designing the masks for fabrication process using TurboCAD designer 15 software.
- Fabricate the N-MOS involved process: wafer cleaning, wet and dry oxidation, etching,
photolithography, diffusion and metallization (PVD).
- The I-V graph of the fabricated NMOS had characterized and the results analysed.
