along with a 4-bedroom house and several vacant lots, with plenty of space to
accommodate the needs of the ministry. The property quickly became a large
work project, but numerous volunteers pitched in to remove trash, paint walls,
replace 50-odd windows, and refinish floors.

Teen Night—Where Truth Meets Teens
It’s no small feat to hold nearly 40 inner-city teens’ attention for over
thirty minutes, but Teen Night director Caleb Reed (intern ‘04-’05)
does it several times a month. With a combination of solid Biblical
truth, humorous personal stories,
and interactive object lessons, Caleb
addresses the issues that teens today
are facing at school and at home—
loneliness, temptation, and anger, to
name a few. One teen expressed
that Teen Night helps him deal with situations in ways
that he never would have thought of otherwise. Caleb
says that he is always encouraged when teens come to
him at the end of the evening, whether it’s to visit more about a certain topic, or tell him
how the lesson made a difference.

Join our Intern Team!
Aim Right is accepting applications for internships beginning in
the fall of 2010 or the spring of 2011. Applicants must be at
least 18 years of age, have a heart to serve and grow, and
commit to a one-year assignment. Our current interns and
their states of origin are Amy Yoder (Maryland), Andrea
Stoltzfus (Pennsylvania), Emily Chupp (Indiana), and Matt
Yoder (Ohio). Ministry interns are on the front lines of out-
reach to at-risk children and youth, as they fill the roles of men-
tors, friends, confidantes, and spiritual leaders. Only three
months into her internship, Andrea has already observed how
God is working in her relationships with youth: “I have been
challenged by the way God uses me to speak to people. There are times
after being asked certain questions, I don't even remember what my
applications available at answer was. That's when I know God was speaking, not me.”
