1. After the commencent of Loading the Entry of Crew is prohibhited in any cargo hold irrespective of the fact whether the
cargo is being loaded in that hold or not. Under Special circumstances if it is required by the master that any crew is
required to enter any of the Cargo hold this Permit must be used
2. This Permit must be issued in duplicate before entry of crew into cargo holds during cargo operation.
3. The original of permit must be posted at a conspicuous place in the entrance to the space concerned, and the duplicate
kept by the safety officer for future reference at the ship's office or in the Engine Control Room .
4.This notice is to be Used along with UOSM " ENCLOSED SPACE PERMIT CHECKLIST" D - 051
5. Refer to Working Instructions " Crew entering Hold during cargo Operation " in SBMOM part-3 - Cargo Handling
procedures"
