AFFIDAVIT
(Sworn Statement)
I, JOSEPH F. BUENCONSEJO, 68 years of age, married to ELIZABETH
CHUA, Filipino citizen, and currently residing at Blk 44, Lot 876, Green Heights
Subd., Sta. Mesa, Manila City, after having been sworn to in accordance with law,
do hereby depose and state that:
1. I am the father of JESUS J. BUENCONSEJO;
2. On December 2005, my wife and I organized a family reunion that was held
at our residence in Sta. Mesa, Manila;
3. Jesus Buenconsejo together with MARIA NEGI LATORENA, my daughterin-law, and my grandchildren SUSAN and CARMEN attended the family
reunion;
4. My son asked me, my wife and her sister, TRIXIE BUENCONSEJO
whether if he can talk to us privately because he has some concerns about
his wife that need to be addressed immediately;
5. He confided with us about the incident witnessed and heard by their house
helper, JANE AUSTRIA, wherein he asked his wife if the latter would
wanted to finish medical school and pursue the profession, however, his wife
got angry and shouted invectives at him telling him why he was forcing her
to work;
6. He started to notice the sudden change in his wifes attitude, that she became
moody, violent, and easily angered;

7. My daughter Trixie approached Maria and politely asked her whether the
latter needs some help, but Marias answer was shocking. She forcefully
brushed off Trixie, approached Jesus and said in a loud voice, Ikaw, gusto
mo na ako idispatcha no?! Kaya sinisiraan mo ako sa pamilya mo!;
8. Maria did not stop there. She shouted at Jesus saying that the latter was not
a good father and a good husband, that he failed to give his family an
abundant life, that even if hes already a doctor, he was not that good so only
few patients were seeking his medical assistance thus failing to provide for
the family, that she wanted a new life with another responsible man, and she
wanted to leave him;
9. These scenarios were witnessed by their children and our other relatives,
which was clearly humiliating on Jesus part;
10. She continuously shout, tried to assault Jesus and even tried to break things.
However, Jesus managed to pacify her by hugging her and escorted her to
their room;
11.The acts of Maria was completely out of control, and I must say that her
claims against Jesus are false;
12.I further attest that the above information is true and correct to the best of
my knowledge and belief; and
13.I am executing this sworn statement to attest to the truth of the foregoing
facts, for information of proper authorities concerned and for whatever legal
purpose this affidavit may serve.
