performance features
Unique features
JRCs second generation, fully type approved S-VDR
incorporates the latest network technology, utilising an
industry standard capsule, that has proven itself as the
most reliable in the market.
In-house technology
JRC uses self fabricated, reliable, marinised hardware, purposely
designed for the S-VDR. The non PC-based equipment ensures
spare parts are availabe for many years.
L3 capsule
L3 is one of the main suppliers of flight recorders to the aircraft
industry. They have proven themselves in the VDR market and are
the worldwide leader in (S)VDR technology. L3 delivers one of the
smallest and lightest S-VDR capsules in the market. This hardened,
high-capacity data recorder utilises the latest technology, providing
the best value S-VDR in the maritime industry.
Playback-software
JRC includes intuitive playback-software that also incorporates
real-time monitoring functionality on the user PC. The data
acquired can be displayed in both graphical and numerical format.
Standard CSV (comma separate values) data conversion enables
easy and efficient exchange of information to shore, e.g. by
e-mail.
Additionally, the playback function is an ideal tool for crew
training. Its ease of use and the freedom to survey a range of
scenarios enhances the users navigation skills.
External recording
JRC constantly innovate to ensure it can deliver you best
performance. Standard LAN output enables you to connect up
to 4 different PCs (own supply) by use of a hub (own supply).
All S-VDR data, including radar video, can be stored on these
PCs. 3GB storage capacity per day is required if you would like
to save the data on your computer. This allows you to easily
playback, select and send data.
