NALCOOL 2000 is a COOLING WATER TREATMENT CHEMICAL manufactured by Nalco

Company.
It is essentially comprised of Sodium Nitrite of CAS No. 7632-00-0 at about 1 - < 5 %
Sodium Tetraborate of CAS No. 1330-43-4 at about 2-3 %.
Sodium Metasilicate of CAS NO. 6834-92-0 at about 1-<5.
Sodium Mercaptobenzothiazole of CAS No.2492-26-4 at about 0.1 - 1 .

Its physical state is of a liquid that appears as Red. NALCOOL 2000 by nature has no odor and
of specific gravity about 1.095-1.125 (25 deg c) ASTM D-1298. The pH of the chemical
NALCOOL 2000 is of pH (100 %) 11.1 -11.8 ASTM E-17 and this chemical is completely
